Americas Best Value Inn, Hartford

I was very happy with my stay. For an inexpensive motel it was well furnished, clean & comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.

People smoking pot in what i guess was the lobby. Mold everywhere, there was a crackwhore in the disgusting stairwell leading up to the room. We got to the door infront of a b;lood stained floor. The handle had been broken previously the eyehole had been spraypainted, we walked in and there were wholes in the wall and plastic bags on the smoke alarms body fluid stains everywhere and rust water coming out of the taps... I'd day overall it was a pretty good experience.

EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE -blood stains on my blanket, floor and ceiling -urine stains on mattress -mold all over bathroom and in AC -AC barley worked -Dirt everywhere, tried cleaing the bathroom and it the towels turned black -room smelt like, mold. mildew, and urine -bugs in the room -Every snack we took from the vending machine was expired -hookers and dealers -said there was internet on the website and there was not -NO housekeeping -front desk was rude - all they did was change my sheets and not clean anything -cig butts and garbage all over from people who stayed there before me I barley stayed in my room for the first night. Slept over the blankets after I washed them. They offered some money back but told us we would have to leave , they would NOT give us another room. There were no rooms available anywhere because of a concert. This is the worst place I have ever stayed at in my life. We only staed on night and left the next day , did not care about the money. It is sooo bad, I have to go get checked for lice now. This place should be shut down in a hearbeat!!!!!!

This place is horrible! The rooms are filthy and the staff are down right combative with the customers. Not only is this place a health hazard the hotel has a scam to tow your car and it costs $120 to get it back This place show should be investigated and shut down Under no circumstances should you stay here

My wife & I planned on spending 2 nights at the Americas Best Value Inn, only to be greeted by a dirty room, empty cig. pack in the dresser drawer, lamp shades all busted, the bathroom floor PERMANENTLY stained brown & hair on the shower walls (not just 'any' hair either). It was soooo wretchedly cared for that 1st thing in the morning we packed up & got out of there PRONTO!!! Do NOT stay at this drug peddlers delight - its not worth the aggrivation. Bottom line - I've been to hotels all across the country is this is BY FAR the worst place I've attempted to stay.....

I stayed there for 2 days. If you are taking the bar exam DO NOT stay in this hotel. You got enough stress to deal with while taking the exam you dont need added stress with the shitty hotel. The best hotel for the bar exam is the holiday inn- cheaper than some of the others and they got a shuttle to take you to and from the exam. So here is my story with Motel 6 in Hartford. I got to the hotel and was shocked and wish I had another place to stay. Both nights I was there car windows were smashed and things stolen. The rug in my floor was dirty- in fact there were bobby pins all over and I asked the lady at the front desk if they could vacuum the rug- they never did. The shower floor was brown- they wiped down the shower but they need to scrub it to get the grime off. I took a shower with my flip flops on. Then the water in the tub was backed up so that was gross. The sheet had a cigarette burn in it. The only thing that was decent was the AC and the tv channels. They didn't have WiFi. Free morning coffee was at 8am. I did not feel safe there whatsoever! Its not a nice part of town! The price isn't worth it.

This place is NOT a safe place. Man standing all over the place. A "dealer" standing right outside the door of the very dirty room that I was supposed to stay in. I was scared for my life and left here without staying. Called customer relations to book another Motel 6, got one at Exit 24 off of Rt.91, MUCH Nicer and MUCH safer. Same price. There are people living in these hotel rooms and they are not "good" people. If you live through the stay, you may not have a car to drive away with in the morning. Not good, not safe. Especially if you are a woman traveling alone!
