The Price IS NOT Worth It!!
By Melissa, 08/16/08
I stayed there for 2 days. If you are taking the bar exam DO NOT stay in this hotel. You got enough stress to deal with while taking the exam you dont need added stress with the shitty hotel. The best hotel for the bar exam is the holiday inn- cheaper than some of the others and they got a shuttle to take you to and from the exam. So here is my story with Motel 6 in Hartford. I got to the hotel and was shocked and wish I had another place to stay. Both nights I was there car windows were smashed and things stolen. The rug in my floor was dirty- in fact there were bobby pins all over and I asked the lady at the front desk if they could vacuum the rug- they never did. The shower floor was brown- they wiped down the shower but they need to scrub it to get the grime off. I took a shower with my flip flops on. Then the water in the tub was backed up so that was gross. The sheet had a cigarette burn in it. The only thing that was decent was the AC and the tv channels. They didn't have WiFi. Free morning coffee was at 8am. I did not feel safe there whatsoever! Its not a nice part of town! The price isn't worth it.

Don't Plan a Stay Here!
By Lorraine, 10/25/06
This place is NOT a safe place. Man standing all over the place. A "dealer" standing right outside the door of the very dirty room that I was supposed to stay in. I was scared for my life and left here without staying. Called customer relations to book another Motel 6, got one at Exit 24 off of Rt.91, MUCH Nicer and MUCH safer. Same price. There are people living in these hotel rooms and they are not "good" people. If you live through the stay, you may not have a car to drive away with in the morning. Not good, not safe. Especially if you are a woman traveling alone!

Ok, Just OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/06
Not really in downtown, but in a semi-industrial area ja couple of exits up I-91. Not much there, a Burger King, another motel and on a weekend a lot of empty parking lots. We were there for a dog show at the Civic Center, but you can't walk to the downtown area from here, too far, you have to drive. OK rooms, big in fact, alittle worn, but not bad. Best thing is the price.
