nice small place to stay

From middleburry to burlington every hotel/motel room rates were skyrocketed,we were lucky to find this small motel,the rates were very reasonable rooms were very clean.office person was very helpful.I would definitely recommand this motel.

office people were very polite and helpful.rooms decor has improved a lot since our last year visit.maid service was good. landscaping need little improvement.I would recommand this place to stay, especially the rates were very reasonable.

We stay every year in August

Nice place to stay, the owners are wonderful and helpful. Gas grills for cooking, picnic tables and a horseshoe pit for down time. Close to Addison County Field and Fair Days. Most units have a small frig, microwave and coffee pot. Grocery store close by and restaurants in Vergennes.

There aren't any restaurants close to the motel, much less in it. The "kitchens" are only in one or two of the rooms, and only include a dorm-size fridge, a small single-power-setting microwave, and a wetbar-sized sink, definitely not conducive to long convienient stays. Maid service was spotty at best.

Good choice

The renovations that have been made in the last year is most welcomed. The Proprietor is extremely helpful and attentive to the guests. The room was more than comfortable for the time we stayed and for the price. I would have no problem choosing the Skyview Motel for another trip.

skyview motel was a nice change. I found the place pleasent and affordable and clean.The people there were helpfull and very kind. It made our vacation easy to afford.

Not what I remembered

It is in a convenient place, clean enough and no suspicious characters about; but as the last reviewer noted, the rooms are worn-looking and overpriced. I can't recommend it.

GOOD PLACE TO STAY

A CLEAN NEW SETTING- MAID SERVICE IMPROVED GREATLY UPDATED ROOMS HAD ALL NEW APPLIANCES IT FELT LIKE BEING HOME WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING.

Double Check Booking

Positive: a place to spend the night. Negative: the room had a very "worn" appearance. $80 plus tax was too much. They had no record of our on-line booking, good thing I phoned ahead of time. They tried to charge more once I got there, even though I had verified the cost on the phone.

some lapses in maid service ie: forgot to leave fresh towels a couple of times....one time fleas in room which were taken care of by owners immediately upon notification
