Colonnade Inn, Lyndonville

IF YOU LIKE TO STICK TO THINGS WELL THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU I WAS IN A SMOKERS ROOM BUT YOU NEED NOT LIGHT UP THEIRS ENOUGH TAR AND NICOTINE ON EVERY THING IN THE ROOM YOU WILL BE COUGHING ALL NIGHT !

This was truly the dirtiest inn/motel/hotel I have ever stayed at. It was apparent that the bed covers, the carpet, the television screen and even the bathroom had not been cleaned in a very long while. When we turned the heater on it smelled of burning dust and hair . . . I'm really not a high maintenance traveler, but the Colonnade offended me. I will say the location was good . . . but it's Lyndonville, anything in town is near everything else.

We re-visited the Colonnade after 5 years. It has changed hands and the room was terrible. The bathroom sink was plugged up, the room was very run down and not kept up, the shower head was hanging out of the wall and the room just didn't have that nice clean look. I would recommend NOT staying here.

Usually has vacancy even during peak times of the year and the price can't be beat. A real working man's motel. Usually not full of raucous snowmobilers or snotty NYC skiers!!!!

This is a terrible place to try and spend any time. Worst offense beyond generally filth covered conditions, the bathroom stunk like sewer gas. When I requested a different room I was told that no one complained before and that since the only open room had another bed it would cost $10 more a night. Frankly, I was an idiot for even considering another room.

We have spent many summers visiting our relatives in a nearby town and always stay at the Colannade Inn. It is affordable for a family with children, clean and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the staff is very courteous. It is located at I-91 and Route 5, which makes it easy to find. We're going back.

I travel to this area alot, and I have always rented a room from the Colonnade Inn because the price is right. It is also in a good location if you want to go out and get a bite to eat, and shop at some small town stores. One thing I did have a problem with was a housekeeper asked if i needed my room cleaned shortly after a woke up (good thing), but i said to the housekeeper "no thanks everything is ok because i'm staying one more night". Shortly after that I left the room to grab a bite of food and came back and my shower towels were gone, and when I left I had my wash cloth in the shower and the dry cloth on the door and it was gone. So I had to call the fron desk and get more towels, I asked her if a housekeeper came in because my shower towels were missing and the front desk didn't really know. So the only thing bad I have to say is that my privacy was invaded, and I had all my belongings in the room so i was NOT comfortable with that..

price was right centrally located friendly staff right off the highway coffee in the morning had kids with me has wireless internet service no complaints got to check in early thats about it

Rooms are clean, location is good, local restaurants and services near. Rooms are quiet for both road noise and neighboring room noise. Management and guests have been friendly
