Terrible Inn - Would not recommend
By ,
This Inn is run down and under new management. The reviews from the past are no longer applicable. The place is run down and the food is terrible. We ended up going out for breakfast the second day. The staff are not enjoying their jobs and it shows. The rooms are small and in need of renovation. The ladder bolted to the back of the house as a fire escape does not add to the romance of the property.

Romantic Hideaway
By ,
This little Inn has got to be the most gorgeous of them all! We lucked out when we stayed in mid March and had the whole place to ourselves. The proprietor let us look at all of the different suites. We enjoyed the huge jacquzzi tub in the bedroom and the gas fireplace that was viewable from either the bedroom or the tv/sitting room. The food was absolutely delicious. And being able to pamper ourselves with the pillow menu, water menu and soap/bubble bath menu was just incredible. If you are looking for a great place to celebrate or rekindle some romanticism this is it!! I highly recommend it.

Excellent experience!
By ,
Wonderful location: it's an easy walk to several very good restaurants, and there are many interesting historical homes in the surrounding neighborhood. We especially appreciated the coffee and/or breakfast served promptly to our room in the morning. The afternoon tea was first-rate (the wine tasting right after is also a nice touch, but the local wines were somewhat disappointing), and the breakfasts were delicious and the menu varied. Service was attentive and courteous throughout our three-day stay. Any disappointments? Not for us, but that's because we were expecting a small (but entirely comfortable) room. There are large rooms available, but at higher rates. We would definitely return to the Adele.

Great getaway
By ,
We had a great time at the Adele Turner Inn. The afternoon tea was served with a large selection of finger foods. Very elegantly presented, as was the Breakfast... we completely enjoyed our stay. The staff was available to help out with reservation/directions ... and gave you as much privacy as you desired. Location is close within walking of town and the tennis museum (and the La forge for dinner, which is next to the museum was unbeatable... we had a fresh seafood dish and the price was amazing.) NOTE: if you drive in the evening, you must pay the meters!! read your signs.

Excellent!
By ,
An excellent B&B with lovely rooms, pleasant staff and a fine afternoon tea. The room I stayed in (Music Festivals Room) had a large four-poster king size bed, a two person jacuzzi tub and lovely decorations. The staff is very attentive but not overbearing. Coffee and Breakfast is available in your room or in the parlor every day. The maids will make up your room and turn down your bedding each night; regardless of how little time you leave them during the day. Staff was helpful in making dinner reservations and had suggestions about activities and beaches. High tea is splendid and the location is perfect; just off the beaten path but still in the historic district. Highly recommended.
