Management Dilemma

Overall, I had a good experience at the Best Inn. This was my second visit to the hotel. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a bubbly, outgoing night manager (Erica)... Great Job!!
The room was very clean but needed a couple of minor cosmetic repairs. The person I was traveling with had their own room with ceiling tile that had some discoloration from water damage. The hotel is an exceptional value for the money during non-peak travel. The normal rate per night increased $20 during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. If not for a negative incident with the day shift manager on duty, who was not rude but very insensitive to a potentially life threatening situation, I had a very good experience. My traveling companion however, vows never to return because of the incident.
The hotel location was great...just several minutes
from downtown Portsmouth,NH.
