I love the place and the people However The beds were uncomfortable , and they would not let me bring an air matress, My daughter and I hurted all over for weeks from the beds.

Not Very Accommodating!
By Sundust, 12/10/09
Two of us stayed one weekend. Unfortunately, a person with our group had a medical emergency and needed to stay over with us putting 3 in the room. They could not/would not make an accommodation for this emergency situation. The person needed someone to look after her during the night and could not use a separate room. Since she could not travel, one of us had to sleep in a chair so she could use a bed. We will not be going back.

will definitely return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/21/08
I recently returned from our annual girl's weekend in Portsmouth, NH. We stayed at the Sise Inn and were extremely pleased with the large suites and comfortable surroundings. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Sitting in the homey breakfast area, you felt like part of a large family. The location of Sise Inn afforded the means to explore much of Portsmouth on foot. I never realized how much this city had to offer the curious traveler. We will probably return to the Sise at some future date and I would recommend it to anyone.

wonderful!
By Michelle W, 09/19/06
This place was amazing! The people there were lovely, they were helpful and friendly and full of conversation. the location was lovely, very close to everything, we were able to walk around the beautiful town which was 5 minutes walk from the inn. the room was beautiful, spacious, relaxing, comfortable. they were also very flexible about how long we were staying for... because we couldn't decided if we were going to stay for 2 days or more... but they said it didn't matter. some day i will come back, such a wonderful place. if you have the chance.... do visit and stay .... you won't regret it !

Beautiful Inn
By LisaW, 11/09/05
We have been staying at the Sise Inn every year, the first weekend of December, for the last five years. We also stayed there during our honeymoon in April. It is our holiday tradition to stay there for the Strawberry Banks Candlelight Stroll weekend. It gets better every time. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the Inn itself is warm and comfortable. It is beautifully furnished and clean. And at night, they have cookies and fresh coffee to nibble on in the breakfast nook. Besides being a beautiful place to stay, the Sise Inn is wonderfully located. It is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, the ocean etc… All in all, the Sise Inn is a great and wonderfully romantic place to stay. It has its own distinct charm and intimacy that cannot be found at the bigger chain hotels

Victorian inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/05
We have visted about once a year over the past 7 years. This experience is more like a small hotel than bed and breakfast. The lobby and sitting rooms are lovely but the guest rooms are just adequate. Some rooms have more charm than others. Service is efficent but impersonal. Breakfast is help yourself to pre-packaged pastries and boxed cold cereals. With attention to details, the owners could make this place so much cozier and more welcoming. It left us a bit cold, particularly considering other choices in the Seacoast area.
