International Motel, Calais

I am writing this review from the international hotel in Calais Me. we have been 5 days on the road from Florida to Nova Scotia. Storm stayed in New Jersey for 2 days. don't usually cross the border in Calais but due to weather conditions we decided to look here for a hotel. Checked it out on the net and it had a great rating. We would like to add ours to that. Most impressed. Older hotel and decore but exceptionally clean. We have a dog and it is great for him lots of grass. lol That is a big plus... Restaurant next door is wonderful you should try the sautee scallops, awesome. from now we may cross here because this is a great hotel. We would recommend this to families or people of all ages. It has our vote. Nice job.

well our trip up here was interesting the first night we stayed at another hotel for 70 dollars for 4 people and were uncomfotable and tired then we stayed here the next two nights for 50 dollars totaling 100 we were comfrotable and loved the view plan to go back in june highly recomend for price location and comfort

we stayed 3 days and will return. Close to town and things to do. Our room faced the river and had a great sunrise. No surprises, just a good place to stay. It was cold weather when we were there and the room heat worked just fine.

The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The area is very nice for walking and if you travel with a pet, this is a great place. There is a nice walking path along the river with great scenery. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
