Gull Motel, Belfast

I recently enquired about staying there and what there weekly rate was. Told the staff it was for two people, for a six week period as I am a traveling nurse. The owner call me back and made the reservation. He then called me back and stated he could not do the reservation, stating he did not know it was for two people. He stated he had to many problems with couples staying for extended period. He then cancelled the reservation. I was completely dumbfounded by this. My husband and I have been married 15 years and traveled alot. Never once did I encounter this. He did give names of other places in town that would do weekly rentals. I see on the reviews that other couples have stayed in the hotel. It may have not been for 6 weeks, but how could he discriminate against me and my husband. He was very willing if I stayed there by myself. If I was famous or the President he wouldn't have said no.
