BEST WESTERN Sundown Motel Resort, Canberra

Staying at the Sundown Village was a fantastic experience. As a teenage traveller on a school trip I was worried about having to clean my motel room but the cleaning service was excellent. Everyday when we arrived back at Sundown Village the bathroom had been cleaned and our beds made. It was my first trip to Canberra so I was dredding the wintery weather but the heater in our unit was so efficient! I was also impressed by the comfiness of the beds and how spacious the rooms were. Sundown Village is in a great location, it is so close to all the main tourist attractions in Canberra. The only thing that I didn't love was the food, it was not the greatest food I have ever eaten but it was nutritious so I guess that is the main thing! The restaurant is quite a distance from some of the rooms and in the middle of a Canberra winter it is not exactly comfortable to walk all that way early in the morning and late at night, but that said I liked how all the rooms are in a close proximity to one another so I could talk to my friends almost when ever I liked. Overall I really enjoyed the friendly staff and excellent service at Sundown Village. I know that on my next trip to Canberra I will be back at this motel!
