Cambridge Hotel Sydney, Sydney

The room was ok if a bit small. For the cleaning all they did was make the beds and replace soap. But what really let it down was the service. Very rarely did we get a smile and never a hello.They made us feel like second class citizens. When we asked for anything they did it with great reluctance.The only thing good was location.

Cosy cafe, ample breakfast spread. Supermarket barely 50m away. Quick access to Oxford St restaurants. Continue walking and you hit Kings Cross in 25mins. Hit Goulburn St and you access the new World Square shopping centre. Turn left and you're in Chinatown. Must try Pasteur Vietnamese restaurant along George St - authentic. Round the corner is Hay's or popularly called Paddy's Market. Oxford St also leads to scenic Hyde Park - from there you're on target towards Centrepoint Tower and the fashionable Pitt Street shopping mall. During winter, many shops sell cheap winter clothes complete with fauxfur. Must try a shop called Crazy something, opposite Hilton Hotel. You can buy cheap winter attire there. From there you can actually walk to Darling Harbour. Take a taxi to Opera House, don't try walking there from hotel. 10min walk from hotel will bring you to Central Station, from which you can connect lines to Bondi Beach. If you want to visit Manly Beach, walk to Central Station, catch train to Circular Quay and take ferry to Manly beach. Hotel will help you book guided tours to places of interest, eg. Blue Mountains, Sydney Olympic Park, Taronga Zoo, etc. That's all folks. Have a comfortable stay at Comfort Inn Cambridge!

I was reading the comments posted regarding the comfort inn Cambridge and was amazed at the lack of accuracy. I myself stayed at this hotel last month and was impressed by the friendly and helpful service. Above all i found the facilities in the hotel to be of the best quality and all working perfectly. All in all the service, value for money, location, and facilities of the hotel exceeded my expectations.

I wasn't happy at all with the service. The swimming pool and spa were broken down. The staff could've offered something to use or give us some discount. We paid for the service and we didn't use it. They have really bad management. I heard someone else was complaining to the manager. So I don't recommend this hotel to anyone to go to.
