'D'elightful and 'D'elicious

The title of this review describes the D2. Hip, funky and unique, the D2 is the place for those into more modern, boutique hotels. It is probably the only one of it's kind in Chiang Mai. The rooms are comfortable despite it's small size. The Plasma TV's are great, with the usual channels. Sports, Sitcoms, Entertainment, News, Movies, etc.
The sevice was great - the staff seemed really keen to help us, and their English is practically fluent so there was no trouble there. The food was great. Presented well, you might as well not go out of the hotel to eat out, just stay there all day. The bar is great, even if you're not going to be staying there.
One of the best things about this place are the little details. The "dance" that the staff do during the afternoon to change shifts, with the D2 having it's own song - which is really catching (It's delightful! It's Delicious!). There are fortune cookies that are given to you during turndown. The hip chairs, that look so funky that you have to at least try to sit on it to get it's feel (you'll be surprised at how comfortable it is) and things like that.
There is so much more that I could say, but you have to go there and see it for yourself.
