Taj Coromandel, Chennai

i visited taj chennainine months back last month i visited taj madurai i find that a accounts man whom i severely critisised was transfered to madurai.is transfer a solution to a problem a misfit is a misfit anywhere a hotel of your reputation should not compromise on anything. There is no dearth of qualified specialised personnel in all fields least of all in the accounting sector just with some pratical knowledge in tally is no justification when so many qualified ca inter with b.com basic degree are available.this reflects vry poorly on the way your hotel is run . I will think twice if i have to stay with you or recommend your hotel to any guests.please set your home in order first. You may get or select rave reviews and publish all that is just because of the tips they expect that they go out of the way to serve us the reality is totally different if a guest is noted not to pay less than rs.500 tip then they are penalised with poor service and excess billing. Their way of hitting back at us .

becaus my husband's buisness trip, we been stayed there for 1 month, the whole place is great, and even shower water.. they are very clean, ps. because we have a 2 years old son, so the clean is a big issue for us, and also , the chef,, he is so nice for making food for us , since we ate hotel food everyday... ,, and the house keeping... , well... they are wonderful... it is a nice place to stay..

I would rate the service in this hotel probably among the best in Asia which includes some of the best hotels in Thailand. Very Clean, comfortable rooms, with good variety of restaurants in the hotel , I will definitely come back.

Bed. The room I was given, had a very uncomfortable bed. Even single star Motel 6 offer better beds. I was amazed by this overlooking of hotel management. Every thing esle from service to cleanliness was EXCELLENT. I will definetly stay again hoping I would get a better bed this time.

I'VE BEEN ONLY ONCE TO TAJ COROMANDEL.BUT I LIKED IT VERY MUCH.THOUGH EVERYTHING IS NICE THERE THE COST IS HIGH.I'M VERY HAPPY THAT I'VE VISITED THE FIRST 5 STAR HOTEL IN CHENNAI WHICH HAD GOT THE FOOTPRINTS OF QUEEN ELIZABETH OF ENGLAND.

A nice atmosphere all around you,and if you visit you will surely lou tat place.even a nice ambience to dine.the service i feel was excellent.about the rooms they were really spacious.it is one of the trademarks of chennai.

The service given by the staff was excellent!I felt pampered like an honoured guest at all times. The food was delicious and it was certainly value for money. Their spa is a must for anyone visiting the hotel, I can't wait to return.

These guys here are known for their excellenvce in the network of their hotels. It was really nice to be out there in this place. But still the exuberence and the modernity of Taj Hotels in Mumbai are not seen in those which are in Chennai. But surely Chennaities take pride in having this in their city. Every element here has a western touch but with Indian culture blended into it. I wud recommend this to be a great place to stay at. Though the cost is little above moderate.. But its worth to spend!! Like to go there one more time!!

Lousy service...... Chennai has better options. Service is sad. Staff attitude can be better. Very expensive hotel, not at all valu for money...Location is good.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in during my stay in Chennai from 1997-2000. Hotel service is simply phenominal, like most 5 star hotels in Chennai. Best Steak (yes Steak) I ever had at the French restaurant, The Patio, at the lower level of the Taj. Ask for the Ch�teau-Brion...
