THE FIRST REASON THAT I LIKE THIS PLACEIS BECAUSE IS SO CLEAN. THE SECOND REASON IS BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS THE GREATEST. THATS WHY I LIKE THAT PLACE. PS.=I WOULD LIKE TO GO AGAIN BUT FREE BECUASE THE TICKET IS SO SPENSIVE

Good Overall

Best thing about the Park Lane is location. Right smack in the middle of busy Causeway Bay. Lots of shopping centers nearby for everyone in the family, including Sogo, Times Square, and Fashion Island. The Causeway Bay subway station is just right around the corner for easy access to other districts in Hong Kong. The hotel staff is excellent and very attentive. The building is a bit older but clean nonetheless. A bit pricy.

Quick Stop Over

The location is great and there are plenty of restaurants, shopping, and bars around the corner. The standard room is a decent size and is well kept. The bathrooms are pretty basic and could use some remodeling. There is a single restaurant for buffet breakfast that has a decent spread of choices. The real issue is everytime I have gone to check out or check-in of the hotel the wait is typically over 25 mins. If they resolve this issue it will be one of the better values in the city.

What a location, what a view

Loved this hotel and loved Hong Kong. Unfortunately only there for one night on our way to New Zealand. Arrived in the afternoon very tired and were amazed by our rooms - spotless. Fabulous views of the harbour. The place just springs to life at night so we ignored our tiredness and headed out. Surrounded by fantastic shopping, wonderful restaurants and authentic Hong Kong eateries. Fabulous location. Great atmosphere in the bar. Kids loved the ice cream shop. Will be back

Sleeping On Top Of IKEA

In July 2007 I met up with a girlfriend from the US (I'm living in Japan at the moment) at Hong Kong Int'l Airport for a five night stay in the International Neon City. We took a cab into Hong Kong Island and quickly (HK cab drivers are fearless) arrived at the front doors of the Park Lane Hong Kong Hotel. The main lobby is nothing extra special but the check-in desk was fully staffed. As we made our way up the elevator to the eighteenth floor we wondered what our room and view would be like. We had no idea what kind of view we were going to have and were so pleasantly surprised to find the beautiful "cliffs" of Hong Kong Island sprawling out ahead of us. Right beneath our window was Victoria Park and down to the right was the Hong Kong Island Public Library. Looking out to the left of our huge window (it was the whole exterior wall of our room) we saw Victoria Bay and Kowloon. The two single beds appeared small but they sure were cozy. The bathroom was cool with a complete glass curved exterior wall that caused the bathroom to blend in to the space of the living/sleeping area. A convenient drape allowed for privacy in the bathroom. The hotel sits on top of one of the most expansive/maze styled IKEA store I've ever been in. The location was superb with the subway only three blocks away, great shopping all around, delicious dining for all price ranges and a cute little Starbucks on the way to the subway station. I hope to get my husband to HK before we move back to the States and this is where I want to stay. Again.

Fast Elevator

The rooms are small but the elevator was so fast. The waiting lounge is small too when we had to wait for our coaster last December we got no place to wait (we're 15 all in all)

nice hotel, great location

This hotel is a bit older, but the location is great. Right across from a great park (Victoria park? I can't remember exactly). There is also an Ikea nearby. Public transportation (buses and trolleys) are close and there are several restaurants near.
