The only thing i would suggest to you guys is making sure you book it online at SweetHotelDeals. N e t I did a bunch of searching for hotel prices, and that site seems to have the lowest prices all around

I stayed here in May 2008 for four nights. The inital greeting was disgusting. On checking in I was told that my room was not ready and to go to the terrace, and was vaguely waved away. When the room was finally ready it had a musty odor. The turn down service was not up to standard, with the room not being turned down until 9.30. Checking out took 45 minutes and four people. This hotel is not a luxury hotel as it claims Having said this the view is spectacular.

Absolutely delightful old colonial hotel. We did not stay overnight (it was full) but did enjoy high tea on the veranda overlooking Victoria Falls. Not to be missed.

This hotel is marvellous - absolutely fabulous and the service is impeccable - I am an ex zimbabwean and cannot wait to visit and see the place again and hope standards have not dropped - I always tell travellers about the hotels in vic Falls and always refer them to this hotel or the Kingdom The food is to die for and excellent value for money

Victoria Falls is a magnificent place to visit, especialy with family. Despite the tiresome long drive, i would advise everybody to take a good look of what nature holds yet we do not seem to notice.

As the closest hotel to the falls, my wife and I enjoyed the best views of the falls. We woke up to the fresh smell of the great falls, the natural rain forest brought about an excellent source of small animals and exotic birds on the hotel grounds, which made for great picture taking. The service was excellent, the food wonderful, and the history of the hotel intriging. We drunk tea on the veranda were Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother enjoyed their afternoons and dined on the table President Nelson and his wife enjoyed their breakfast for a weekend. It was sleeping in a musuem of fine art from Zimbabwe's top artists and the Empires Past glory. I have travelled all over Africa and I can say this is the best hotel on the continent.
