Hotel Phenicia, Qurbus

i really wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you just want to get away & sunbathe all day. the food is dull & the same every day, & the staff are really unfair on kids. there's nothing to do but swim etc. the staff greet you really well for the first 5 minutes & then turn on you. & they were willing to serve alcohol to minors - i saw an 11 year old get served two lagers - if they tipped them about a dinar a time. i felt they lacked the simplest principles & so was glad to get home. it's a well built hotel & all, there's just NOTHING TO DO. there's one club in the hotel, which during the 11 nights i stayed, i saw all of 3 people dance. on the other hand, there wasn't a war of the sunbeds, & a couple of members of staff were really kind. it wasn't as i'd expected.

This place was amzing. My boyfriend booked this holiday as a surprise and when he said Tunisia I turnt my nose up. Shouldn't have as have never been before. When we arrived we thought we was in the wrong hotel!! It was tooo nice!! haha... We were both 17 at the time and going away was exciting enough but the beautiful hotel made it overwhelming. It was so clean, sheets and towels changed every day and the staff were so lovely. They couldn't do enough for us!! The downfall was you cant go out the hotel as the men are quite... errr... well a 17 year old blonde girl... they were a bit creepy! But we had great days out with the reps. Booking trips with them were so much fun!! I recomend the pirate boat!! Fantastic if you like dolphins!! There is indoor out door pools one for the kids, a whirlpool, about 6 bars the food was great! We are going somewhere else this year but DEFINATELY 100% we will go back. It was FANTASTIC! Not much to do when you're 17.. Music/Clubs nothing like that, just peaceful, relaxing and I have to say it was the best week of my life!! Wish it was longer! I'd say its more of a couples holiday not a lot for children to do... There is a private beach which was lovely although we stayed round the pool mostly... Very romantic!! Food was nice, especially the pancakes (breakfast every morning!!) haha!! We had full body masages there too and I would def recomend them... it was brill!!! Id recomend it to every couple!!! HAVE FUN!!!

We cant wait to go back hopefully next year! The food was beautiful, the location was fab, the entertainment and entertainers were amazing and you couldn't ask for a better hotel! thankyou to Dido, Mimo, Mike, Rio, Mimo and Didi, the entertainers :) xxxxx

OMG THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THE BEST HOLIDAYS I HAVE BEEN TO I LOVED IT SO MUCH I PERSWADED MY PARETNTS IF I CAN GO THERE NXT YR THE PEOPLE ARE REALLY FRIENDLY THE ENTERTAINMENT IS FANTASTIC . iTS A VERY CLEAN AND TIDY HOTEL ASWELL. THE FOOD IS GREAT HAD NOT A THING WRONG WITH IT EVERYDAY A DIFFERNT VIARETY OF FOODS . GO TO THIS HOTEL IF U ARE LOOKING FOR A HOTEL TO GO TO IT IS FAB!!!!

This is our first time in Tunisia, (18/6/06 to 25/6/06)i can't wait to come back. The hotel Phenicia, is simply fantastic,the food choice was incredible considering the different nations that were there when we were. The pools are in great order,very clean,the beach was very clean and police controlled well by horse mounted police. The beach sellers are there but "just say no" and they go away. the staff throughout were so helpful it all made the week we had fly by, (pity 7 days fly like that). the sun was so hot the whole week,you just can't stay in it too long. The towns and out and about can be a little dodgy,but the taxi drivers, i have been told all took driving tests,I am not sure ours did!!! lol. we used First Choice and will again, again, the rep, Joanne Slimene was excellent,and could not do enough for us. You will enjoy tunisia its a great country.

This year we go for the 20th time to the Hotel Phenicia. We know many of the people and also the Servicepersonal. It's like coming home again every year. This Hotel was over 30 years old but after rebuilding three years ago it looks younger than ever.

4 of us went last christmas (2004) and this year we've decided to take the whole family! The hotel was the cleanest, best hotel we have ever been to and the food was just great aswell! On christmas eve there's a special 'do' and this night will stay with you forever... it's quite memorable! The staff there are just wonderful-they will cater to your every need and they are so very polite. This hotel I would say is worth visiting... especially around new year and christmas!

This hotel is incredable. The service in the restaurant area at lunch and dinner cannot be faulted. The food was amazing and there was something there for all ages with a different theme each night. It is without a doubt the best hotel i have ever stayed in and there has been a few!! Both the pools were sparkling clean and the rooms were immaculate. The only thing i can fault about the hotel was the evening entertainment which was not very entertaining.

The staff wre wonderfull , Food was great something to suit everyone. Very clean towells changed every day, and everyone was so friendly and helpfull. would definately recomend this hotel, very family friendly. the only let down was not so much entertainment for seniors or over 50 but otherwise marvelous value for money.

This was the best holiday I have had for a long time. The staff were very friendly and the entertainment staff were brilliant! We were always encouraged to take part and it was an amazing experience. The rooms were a little old but very clean and I spent the majority of time outside. The food was great and there was a large range of foods. It was well worth every penny spent and I would strongly recommend it to anyone!
