this place is awesome its more than 7star rating staff are great

Rooms are lovely with all decks overlooking the crater. Staff curtious, helpful, joyful. Brought us hot water bottles when my husband was sick. Restaurant was lovely, impecably decorated, food great.

There is nothing to dislike about Serena Lodge. It is the most perfect place to stay when visiting the crater. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the decor in excellent taste and the architecture complemented the landscape beautifully. The entire staff were delightfully accommodating! The dining room was outstanding, a great place to relax and enjoy the delicious food. Flora was assigned to our table and was extremely helpful and pleasant when assisting us in making choices from the wide variety of appetizing foods offered. Keep up the good work, I look forward to returning.

I don't even know where to begin....... everything about the Serena Hotel chain is the BEST!!!!.....EXCELLENT service and unbelievably nice people.....you have to experience it to believe it. I can actually say that Africa is the place to be and Serena is the place to stay while visiting.....just returned and thinking about going back sooner then later.....

What A surprise. I never thought Africa could have accomodations as beautiful as this one. Not only was the hotel itself magnificent but how could one not rave about the service and the staff of wonderful people in every capacity. The location was about perfect without being on the floor of the crater itself. And the food.........how great for being so far from civilization. A complete pleasure and experience we will never forget.

The most incrediable resort I've ever been to. To think they transported all of those lava rocks to the rim and built this amazing building was just awestriking. The rooms were amazing, with the incrediable view through the very large window that took up almost a whole wall. The food was excellent. The dinning room SECOND to none. Beautiful drawings surrounded by lava rocks all over the walls. All of the hallways to the suites were gorgeously crafted wood. Everything about Ngorongoro crater was WELL worth the long trip we had. When I decended to the bottom of the crater, I felt like all the pain and horrific roads I traveled was so worth it. We traveled through northern Kenya and a lot of Tanzania, and I can, with out a doubt, say Ngorongoro Crater was the most amazing place of all the parks. And so well worth the trip. GO TO THE CRATER ONCE BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS EARTH. maybe more if you can.!!
