Mariston Hotel, Johannesburg

I have been a student at RAU for the past two years. To all the places I had ever stay. I will never regret to go back to Mariston Hotel Cause they offer a pefet supperior accomodation

mariston is a graet hotel cause eish there a lot of babes and baya nyobisana but what i hate about it is the securities dam they can beat a guy especialy the one who wears an amstell cap

1 thing i like about it is that we dont pay the electricity and water directly but everything sucks,aids e galore even if we ignore it,management have a racial attitude,i can call them racial white management the gay Johan he is so racial,they treat us like bodying school kids i realy hate the place,thats why idont live there anymore,your life get programmed and the tenants think alike chiks love sex guys booze and they presurerise each other and i hte zillah a stupid grown kind

since i've arrived, i got a lot to say about the place,its packed.i love,can't wait to explore more.

i went there in feb this year the place are cool bt manegement are full of shit they dnt even pay their employee the always come to us and borrow money and ask for tea. how cn a big hotel like this dosent pay there workers atlest living coast. i hate that place cos is ujsing people aggg damm. i cnt go there any more cos they just spend my money for nothing .. fuck dat place

This is the best place,people are friendly and u get to learn more abt different cultures and the gals are hot and gaba timane ka .....

The Hotel is in Joubert park adjacent to the drug capital of Gauteng,( little Nigera ), Hillbrow. Drug pushers , filthy streets , night time street hookers and Nigerians by the thousands with hooting taxi's and night time gunshots , police sirens and ambulances . We left in a very big hurry as we we scared out of our wits to go into the street at night. You are warned against this by the staff. When we did venture out , I am not sure if there was a garbage workers strike on , but the streets were full of garbage and massive white and black rats roam around while the locals sell sweets and cook on open fires on the pavements. Buildings are delapidated with broken windows and washing hanging openly on balconies. The hotel itself is not too bad but not even 4 star . Noisy with the voices of different dialects who are unable to speak in lower tones. Casual conversation with someone standing alongside you is done at the top of ones voice . Not a bad hotel ... Wrong area !

The security and service at this hotel is excellent. This was the best value for money student accomodation in Johannesburg. The management really has the students best interests at heart. I would recommend it to any other students looking for a place to stay.

i haaattteee JOHAN the bus drivers, the securities. there is a bar downstairs where students drink their future all week long. There's also a terribble DJ every week, the same person 'AK' or MGAGA. The only song he is good at playing is HANDS UP by DJ CLEO.
