Mariston Hotel, Johannesburg

i haaattteee JOHAN the bus drivers, the securities. there is a bar downstairs where students drink their future all week long. There's also a terribble DJ every week, the same person 'AK' or MGAGA. The only song he is good at playing is HANDS UP by DJ CLEO.

I have been a student at RAU for the past two years. To all the places I had ever stay. I will never regret to go back to Mariston Hotel Cause they offer a pefet supperior accomodation

The security and service at this hotel is excellent. This was the best value for money student accomodation in Johannesburg. The management really has the students best interests at heart. I would recommend it to any other students looking for a place to stay.

This hotel according to me is the safest hotel in south africa. I have never been to a hotel like this before. When in Jo'burg am always not stable but this time around when I accommodated myself in Mariston Hotel I felt like extending my days because the area is welcoming

I liked the service by the cleaners...Squatting is good depending on the people you live with. I think Mariston must address the issue of different cultures and bakcgrounds as other mates are not matured enough to accomodate others eg Xenophobia by Zulus vs Tswana; Botswana people vs SA ETC. I disliked the service rendered by other security guys in the Internet where they would discriminate you if you are not Zulu Speaking. I wonder if they are still dicscriminating...otherwise they will cost Mariston future customers...they must be warned... The Library room is small. Other things are good at Mariston. Shops are just small for a HOTEL...

The management staff of the Mariston were very helpful and friendly, especially the owner.
