Not Worth It...
...At least not for the price!
Our stay started off well enough. Great staff, beautiful beach and pool areas, and a nice comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.
We have stayed all over the world, from the Far East to the U.S. and everywhere in between. That is why I know "The Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa" is NOT a 5 star. So here are the let downs: Shower is Motel 6(ish), the rooms lighting is Bright or Off(no in-between), TV selection is that of a 3rd world nation, and other than breakfast, the dining at the 'Jebel Ali' is "Sub-Par". Be aware of the "Themed Food Night"... What A Joke, 150 AED (40 US) and probably the worst buffet we've ever been to. They also goes as far as to not allow any outside food on the grounds of the resort. The best meal we actually had in Dubai was not even at the "Jebel Ali" it was at another hotel, the "Burj Al Arab". Amazing.
Furthermore, the Resort allows any and all outside individuals to use the facilitys each weekend. So, if you want a place to relax without the whaling and yelling of 200 kids and their familys, "The Jebel Ali" is not the place for you!
I sent my wife to the Spa on her Birthday and she said "they rushed me through the whole thing. Oh, to be in Thailand again."
All in all, I don't believe we will ever return to the "Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa", giving them a Double-Bogey Rating!
