I just checked out of your hotel to go stay in the Sheraton across the street. I had a poor experience with the service at this hotel. The facilities were fairly nice probably deserving a 4 star rating. Though, many of the amenities that were listed in my reservation were unavailable due to the spa being under construction. This information should be available to people making a reservation.  The service on the otherhand was absolutely terrible. It was not that the staff was just unresponsive, they were blatantly rude. This fault has to lie with poor management. It is such a shame that such a facility would have such poor management that it degrades the entire experience of the hotel. I would barely expect this kind of treatment in a 2 star hotel. 

I stay there once a year for few days as I always attend a certain occasion that is held yearly Well, the rooms, after the recent renovations are more luxurious than before but still small in size in comparison to other 5* hotels. the view is great if you are lucky to get a bay view room other wise it sucks. Small pool and private beach but then again it is enough for the number of guests using it. It is as clean and as good service as expected from a 5*. It is located in a great area in alexandria (Montazah gardens) and about 25 minutes away from the commonly known touristic attractions (down town). The food variations are enough but the quality is not that great (as a 5* should be) and I keep wondering despite that the staff know this downside they are not taking any action my guess they are selling a location. To conclude it is an excellent experience don't miss it.

Wonderful hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way for us, always very friendly and professional. Incredible breakfasts, very nice rooms. Probably the most beautiful location in Alexandria - within the palace gardens and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Having stayed in several other Alex hotels, this would certainly be my first choice.

service was the best, smile faces from the porter to the check out. i stayed for one month, and everynight I had different varities at the buffet dinner, very delicious, and wide selection. I will always come back when I visit Egypt

Poor quality of services, with zero art of tourism. Still no moral of how to treat people and money for all people over there is always the name of the game.

This is a lovely hotel set in the most wonderful gardens of Montazah Palace, with lovely views across the bay. It is extremely peaceful and ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday in Alexandria. The only downside to it is that it is quite a way from most of the main tourist attractions in Alexandria and can take some time, even by car, to get from the hotel to them and back. There is a nice little private beach and pool at the hotel with a lifeguard. The breakfast selection is wonderful and there is a wide variety of different restaurants to choose from to dine at throughout the day. The rooms are very clean and spacious and very comfortable.

Beautiful setting beside the sea in romantic Montaza park. Service a little slow, but efficient and pleasant. Public spaces are clean, comfortable and welcoming.

While staying for our honey moon, the fire sprinkler in the room , went off without any reson . We are non smoker and there was no reason for it to go off. Black water every where in the room over our belonging damaging our vidoe camer and the wedding dress.Any way it took the hotel staff a long time to come to the room exactly after 2 calls to the reception desk ( what if it was a real fire??) After being accused of triggring it off Not a word of apology but a worhtless letter from the manager, explaining when the sprinkler will goes off without explaining the reason for this event.
