Sofitel Cecil Alexandria, Alexandria

My husband and I first visited the Cecil Sofitel in 2009 for our honeymoon. I chose this hotel for its old world charm and location. When we arrived we had been upgraded by the manager to the most amazing suite ever. There was a fruit bowl, roses, and a personal note from the manager congratulating us on our marriage. The view was simply breath taking. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay. The in room complimentary breakfast was *amazing* though the room service for other meals was a touch pricey, the quality was worth it. We have since returned to the same hotel year after year, and intend to do so for a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this year when we returned the staff actually rememebered us. That just does not happen anymore. When there was a slight mix up with the room reservations this year the on duty manager was absulutely amazing. She took care of it immediately and got us moved quickly and painlessly into a room that was far better than even the one we had the pleasure to be in for our honeymoon. The short of it, this hotel is clean, staffed with helpful friendly people, well worth the price, and a true *find*. See you all in June!

i like every thing u will feel much better overthere about the service overther it's so good that make u comfortable and u enjoy ur stay with the rooms that below the sea shore

it is realy great it is the alexandria have a wondeful beach on the mid sea alot of great places to visit, the service r great , they r friendly there , and clean , the egyptian food i liked alot , lol

We liked this place mainly for the location, the view is out of this world, and the stuff was also very helpfull You guys are making it difficult I want to tell you that everything was just excellent thank you Nothing
