Beautiful and A Great Hotel
My family and I traveled to Virginia this past April to go to the NASCAR race in Martinsville. In order to save some money, we stayed in the Hotel Roanoke, as the place is referred to. We were blown away.
It was a great deal, for about $150/night. Considering how pricy some hotels can be near racetracks on race weekend, this was a great deal. The room was of a moderate size, on a courtyard, but it gave a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, especially early on Sunday morning. After a long day of driving, the beds were especially comfortable, with a soft mattress. The staff was extremely friendly, and gave accurate directions on the shortest route from Roanoke to Martinsville. The lobby was gorgeous and the hotel was lovely. It is a great place for anyone.
