Our Home Away From Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/26/06
From the first time we stepped into Hotel Casci in October 1997, we were treated with utmot courtsey. The Lombardi family simply couldn't be more accomodating. They saw to our every need. When our son returns frequently to Florence his trip wouldn't be complete unless he stoped in to say "hi"! We would never stay any place other than the Hotel Casci. Best Location, Great staff
By Kathy, 11/12/09
What a great location. My husband and I and a friend arrived from a long drive up north and was relieved to find a wonderful room and staff. The hotel staff treated us like family. They helped us locate a restaurant close by, "that was just fantastic". I will recommend Hotel Casci to all my friends and all of you.

Este hotel fue una muy mala experiencia.
By rosy, 1/20/10

Service Sells
By RonL, 5/7/09
Great location, great staff, good rooms. Located 200 yards from the Duomo and around the block from the San Lorenzo leather market, you can't beat the location. Just ask for a room near the back to avoid any street noise. Service is what sold me to this hotel. The staff makes you feel at home, adn will go out of their way to suggest things to do, places to eat, etc. The word "no" does not exist in their vocabulary, as they are quick to help in every aspect. Would I stay here again? No question about it.

Casci - Friendly Beyond Belief!
By aerograd, 8/31/04
We stayed at Hotel Casci (pronounced Cashee) for our honeymoon in Sept 2003. We spent three nights there including the night of the nationwide blackout! The staff is so friendly it's almost scary. They speak great english (among other languages), are happy to recommend restaurants, have an internet access point in their lobby to check your e-mail, and have a pretty good breakfast including toast, eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. Our room overlooked the interior courtyard and was very comfortable. The rooms have refridgerators so you can keep drinks or leftovers too. It's in an excellent location - very near the Duomo, open air market place, square with restaurants and other shops. If you go to Florence, of course go see the statue of David and the museums. Also take some extra time to walk out to the mountains (hills) across the river and take in the view overlooking the city. Buy an original oil painting while you're up there to remember your trip. Florence had the nicest people and overall best food in our whole Italy trip of Rome, Florence, and Venice! If you go to the square to eat (the restaurant may have been Zsa Zsa's, but I can't remember for sure) there is a peppercorn filet mignon that is possibly the best steak I have ever had! It was definitely the best non-pasta meal I had while in Italy. You can't go wrong with Florence or Hotel Casci in our opinions!

Perfect Spot, Very Friendly
By Lizbeth, 4/10/10
This hotel, tucked away on the second floor just two blocks from the center of town, treated us very well. The rooms were wonderful, clean, convenient, and quiet. Breakfast couldn't have been better. I will stay there again when I return in a few years.

Great Staff
By the1mom, 3/31/07
When you first find Hotel Casci you are not sure how this is going to work out but once you enter their lobby you know you are in the right place. The staff was exceptionally helpful, providing all the information you needed right up front. The english speaking staff was generous with their time. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is perfect to reach the museums, great restaurants, the huge street market, and more. A very pleasurable experience, would definetly stay there again and would recommend to others.

Great Family Hotel in Florence
By Kram, 6/19/06
June 2006 Great location close to train station . Nice, large family room that can sleep 6 comfortably. They saved me a lot of money by not having to pay for two rooms. Very clean hotel with nice breakfast room and internet pc set up in lobby... free internet usage. Emailed hotel and they arranged reservations for the Uffizi museum. The lobby has a large library of books and travel information .I had read about Hotel Casci on Yahoo, TripAdvisor and other web sites and the reviews were always positive. This place is a great value.

Wonderful family hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/27/07
My daughter and I have stayaed here three times (she has stayed four). It is a wonderful family run hotel, friendly, clean and centrally located. They serve a wonderful breakfast and will help you make any plans while you're in Florence. It is truly the best place to stay while you're in Florence.
