Super 8 Fort Sumner, Fort Sumner

This was our first time to Fort Sumner to visit some friends and see the Billy The Kid grave. This hotel was right across the street from a very cute museum we really enjoyed. Not only did they have Billy The Kid memorabilia but they had old cars and horse drawn carts inside. The gift shop was nice too with lots of books and clothes. This hotel had a little coffee maker for one cup, very clean rooms, and put us in a room that had easy access to get outside to take our dog pottie. It was only $10 extra for our small doggie. They had the continental breakfast out early of bagels, cream cheese, oatmeal, tea, and coffee, milk and cereal. Embarrassing as it is, in the middle of the night I took my dog out for a potty break and got locked out of the hotel. I had to ring the bell to get back in and didn't seem to be a problem. They were friendly and professional. They also had a blow dryer available.
