THEFT from room service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/16/07
Myself and another person booked 2 rooms for 2 weeks for a school that we attending close by. After only staying one night I returned to my room and discovered that room service had been inside after I had placed a do not disturb sign on the door. I discovered that there had been beverages stolen out of the refrigerator and some of the towels were missing. My partner had loose change (approximatley $7.00) and sleeping aid medication taken. Me and the other guest are law enforcement and can not aford to leave our items in the room at the expense of the room service employee. I complained to the management and they did refund both rooms for the previous night but the clerk said that there had been a history of this problem. I am concerned that since there was a history of this why had it not been dealt with. The company has lost a lot of business since the department uses Comfort Inn on several occasions for other officers. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND A STAY AT THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU DO NOT VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS.
