The Best Western Sundowner Inn is within two miles of Evans Plunge, Southern Hills Golf Course, Spring's Bath House, and Larive Lake. Angostura is six miles away, Wind Cave National Park and Custer State Park are 12 miles, and Harney Peak is 15 miles from the inn. Guests are welcome to relax in the inn's indoor pool and hot tub. In the morning, a complimentary continental breakfast is served and free newspapers are available. There are also meeting, exercise, laundry, and parking facilities on site. Kids 18 years or younger stay for free. Each room has air-conditioning, clock radio, iron and ironing board, coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator, safe, hairdryer, free local calls, and cable television. Non-smoking and handicap-accessible rooms are available.

Facility Nice Customer Service Not So Much

I enjoyed how close it was in proximity to down town! The rooms were clean & neat as was the lobby area & pool. The hot tub however had bugs & dirt in it which was nit pleasant. When we first arrived the lady @ the front desk was very pleasant & friendly, we were early for our check in so we left for a while & came back @ check in. Once we got back the lady there then was extremely rude & acted as though she had better things to do then help me. She practically yelled @ me about our rooms! Then I had to go back up to change to a smoking room & still she was being rude! If she does not want to be working then she shouldnt be!

What a super place to stay!!

This Best Western is a wonderful place to stay. The property is well maintained and the management and staff are super!! We would not stay anyplace else when we are in Hot Springs. Price is also very good. It should be rated very high in anyones review.

Bad Stay

We have stayed here numerous times. My husband family is from here, and we stay here for the location and the clean comfortable rooms. We stayed 5 days this christmas. This time was unreal. We asked that the sheets be changed, they NEVER changed them. The iron in the room quit working, I went to the front desk to get another. The girl was VERY rude and said "She could not get another until the next afternoon. We have NEVER had a bad experience here. But, this time did it. The Staff is VERY UNFRIENDLY and they do not care of your stay.... DO NOT STAY here.... Just for the word of advice!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at 5 Best Westerns while on vacation last summer. This one was the best!Treated you like they were glad you had come!

Great Stay!

We stayed at the Best Western in Hot Springs, South Dakota and were very pleasantly surprised. We arrived without reservations and the front desk was very accommodating. We got a king, non-smoking room on the first floor for a great rate. The pool area (with hot tub) is clean, there is a computer with internet access for guests, and the complimentary continental breakfast was adequate. They also had snacks at night for their guests. The best feature, by far, is their outstanding staff. From check-in, to housekeeping, to check-out, they were fabulous.
