Days Inn Federal Way, Federal Way

We stayed here while attending JO Gymnastics and it was great. I chose this because it was priced reasonably and was between the airport and the competition location. We had two rooms with king beds. One room had a microfridge. When I asked, Ed provided a fridge for the second room. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and were very friendly. The beds were great - very comfortable. The front desk staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Many choices of restaurants nearby, one of the best right across the street. Mall and walmart 5-10 mins by car. Breakfast was more than enough. Fresh waffles, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, milk, juice and fruit were what I noticed. I did use the computer in the lobby a few times and found it to be more than adequate for checking email, getting directions etc. Very convenient to the highway - just two blocks off - and easy to find. About 35/40 minutes from sea-tac airport. Federal Way is south of Seattle off Interstate 5. The competition was at Puyallup Fairgrounds which was a 40 min drive. After the competition was over we did some sightseeing in seattle - the Space Needle which was okay and the Harbor Tour which was 1 hour and great. The food selection by the Argosy tour departure area was good - excellent ice cream. We also went to Salt Beach (this is about 15-20 minutes from the hotel, between the hotel and seattle) which was great - have footwear that can get wet becuase of shells. Wish we had more time to visit. Seattle is about 40 minutes away from hotel so space needle is easy to do late in the day/evening. Would definitely recommend. I would choose to stay there again if the opportunity presented even if it was a bit more driving. definitely worth the time and money. The people there made it more than nice and are the main reason for my stay being excellent instead of just great. Reasonable cost, great value, great people, excellent stay.

We, my husband, 2 pre-teen boys, and I stayed at Days after a day at the water park. The room was clean, nothing special, but if you are just looking for a place to spend the night it was fine. The bathroom was very small, but again we were only there one night. It is very close to the water park and within easy walking distance of serveral restaraunts. The breakfast area is very small with a limited variety, but very reasonable for the price. Total price was under $90, we would stay there again.

Our family was on the vacation in Seattle and Tacoma areas so we picked this Days Inn in Federal Way because it's right in the center of everything. It was located right off of I-5. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The room we were stayed at was absotutely clean and spotless. We also enjoyed the breakfast they served in the morning. When we check out, we were also able to get extra service such as to get mapquest to local attractions, keep our luggages even we were checked out and a lot more. We would definitely go back next year and look forward to stay there..
