Excellent in every respect. Have stayed at a number of times both business and pleasure. This visit two things were negatives: Can no longer open window, can't breath crappy recycled air (headache) and bed was TERRIBLE, woke up with stiff back and , my wife, too. But staff are well-trained, and this holel is well above average. Oh yes, don 't take the rack rate ( $150 +) with AAA etc got mine down to $127.

The presidential suite was overpriced compared to the competition in the area. The room was nice and clean looking but outdated. It had a mediocre view of the underside of the Cass St. bridge. Do NOT stay in the suite right above the pool, unless you enjoy watching your $12.99 pay per view movie with 100 yelling teenagers in the background. This was supposed to be our wedding night but we decided to leave at 11:00 because it was like trying to sleep in a shopping mall. Went to Stoney Creek Inn for a special Holiday rate that was $90 cheaper.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday there. We had a huge party out on the back patio overlooking the Mississippi. It was gorgeous. The hotel arranged for us to get a quarter barrel. We were able to set up all our hot foods...crock pots, cookers & etc on the counters in their breakfast area. The staff was very helpful and courteous. It's a great place. It's also just a couple blocks from downtown.

great property, nice location. nice size rooms. the desk staff was great, very helpful and accomadating. a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance

Situated on the banks of the Mississippi the hotel is ideally situated for downtown LaCrosse and Riverside Park all within walking distance.(No need to move the car out of the carpark!) The room was superb, extremely clean and comfortable with a very spacious wet room. The lobby area was comfortable with coffee etc freely avaiable and a computer station with free internet access for guests. The restaurant only served breakfast, which was very good, but information was provided on local restaurants for lunch and dinner. Most of these were within walking distance and provided good food. The pool is only small and is best taken as a fun pool not for serious swimming. Being there on July 4th we had a super view from the hotel lawn of the fireworks display over the river Overall an excellent hotel in an ideal location offering good value for money.
