Somethings i didn't see that were listed as amenities... gift shop, bathrobes, alarm clock radio and iron/ironing board. It was convenient to the Train Station and not far to start your walk to the attractions, of Rome. The room was exceptionally small even though heard that Rome hotels were tiny, this was really small. The hand towels weren't very nice and there was no floor mat. I would say the breakfast up on the top floor was nice, and plentiful and good to start your day out. The staff was friendly for the most part but didn't seem to go out of their way for anything. Seems overpriced but then again, so is Rome.

Don't stay here!!

Don't be fooled by the pictures on the web..I was. This is in the ghetto of Rome, anti-american graffitti all over buildings. Rooms were awful, smelled of smoke, extremely noisy, bathroom in disrepair, remote for TV did not work. We complained and asked to be moved, hotel was full and they woudl not accomodate us. We told them we were going to check out and told us we would have to pay for all 4 nights of our stay. After threating to talk to corporate they required us to stay 2 out of 4 nights.

THE EMPLOYEES AT THE HOTEL WERE NOT WELL MANNERED, THE ROOME NEEDED MAINTENANCE, THE SAFETY BOXES DIDN'T WORK, THE SHOWERS HAD LEAKS THAT THREW WATER ALL OVER THE BATHROOM, NO DOOR OR SHOWER CURTAINS IN BATHTUB, TOWELS HAD HOLES, ROOMS WERE NOT CLEAN AND THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY LOW QUALITY.

Over Rated and Over Priced
By ,
This hotel advertised many things it didn't have: i.e. gift shop, bathrobes, alarm clock radio and iron/ironing board. It also advertised air-conditioning. The control was on the wall but neither the heat or air-conditioning would come on. The hotel advertised airport shuttle for 45 euros. The shuttle was an auto with hired driver that cost 47 euros from the airport. For the return trip you're at their mercy and it cost me 58 euros. The room is exceptionally small. Approximately 10 X 10. The subway must run along Via Cavour because every 15 minutes the floor starts shaking and you can hear the rumble. Thankfully the trains run less at night. The closet was a max 18 inches wide and also housed the safe. Not much room left for clothes. There wasn't a chest with drawers to place your undergarments. There was approximately 12 inches between the wall and the bed on both sides. The desk was not useable because the TV was on it. The faucet on the bathroom sink leaked and soaked everything left on the counter top. The hose to the shower head was short and I had to kneel to take a shower. The outer covering on the shower hose was broken so if I pulled up to much it would cut the water off to the shower head. The bathroom towels had holes and were threadbare. The hand towels were more like kitchen towels. There was no bath mat when stepping out of the shower. On a positive note the breakfast was OK and the room decor was nice. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps is a bit more of a walk. This hotel needs to have it's rating changed to be more in line with what it actually contains. I would not rate this hotel above 1 1/2 stars. I paid $220 per night to stay here and feel the price should have been no more than $110 per night.
