Del Rey Hotel, San Jose

Excellent. There is a girl for everyone. Amazing place. I recomend that everyone visit atleast once in your life and I live in las vegas USA.

I went last year by myself and was very glad I did. It's a perfect place for a single guy seeking fun. There's not much outside the hotel but if you're single then you really don't have to leave the hotel. All the girls will come to you when you sit at the bar. The girls are average at best but very friendly. I only found 5% of the girls attractive but that's all you need. Remember...don't bring your family

This is Disneyland for the single man! The girls are hands down the best Ive seen in Central America. Even if your not there for the girls the bar and casino are excellent. I went with a buddy 2 weeks ago and Im going back in a few months.

Somebody said: I know you got some cheapos trying to negotiate with these girls but for $100 the service is excellent. Costa Rica is a bargaining society. Businesses all over the country, including the girls at Del Rey, expect to negotiate. You are not seen as a fool for doing so. In fact, they will see you as a fool for just paying the first quoted price. Guys like you are the reason why the prices keep increasing. The local price in every other establishment in town is about half that, but tourists at DR are responsible for letting it get out of control. Those who freely pay the quoted price compare it to what they would pay in their hometown. This is like comparing apples to oranges.

The servise was amazing. I felt like living with my mother once again. Everything was clean and the people was pleasant. I love it and I would highly recomend it to any body.

I have been like 4 times and will forever come stay at the Del Rey. The food is good, it is a pretty central location, and the ticas are great. I know you got some cheapos trying to negotiate with these girls but for $100 the service is excellent. I travel all over the world on business so I think I speak from experience. The girls at the Del Rey are a bargain for the service they provide. The really hot ones will never negotiate below $100 and you are gonna look like a fool too. I just go from babe to babe to babe for weeks on end sometime. Here some advice. Find a really hot one and take her down to Jaco (the nearest beach town) Take her clubbing, dineing, and surfing. She will love you forever and make your stay a pleasure. I promise. Later.

Excellent Service, Centeral location for all activities. Casino and other entertainment on site. Friendly atmosphere, with restuarant across the street and bar on site.

Very friendly from the time you check in to the time you check out! Food was OK.Service very good!Great bars! A good place to see a unique side of Costa Rica! I would like to visit again sometime!

Most of the other revues accurately describe the hotel. It is like a cross between a Holiday in and a Motel 8. Info about top floors to avoid smoke are overated; all rooms in most hotels here are smoking rooms, i.e. they all have a little smoke exposure. Noise was worse at the Presidente with paper thin glass and street vendors at 7am. Rooms 311, 411, 511 are good if you go with a bud. They are on the corner and the room is big enough for both guys to "entertain" with a little privacy. THE WOMEN are better than I expected. I feared it was going to be a lot of dirt poor young girls that were cheap but average looks. Not so; Plenty of fake tits and it seemed every girl had braces. yes you can talk some of them dow to $40 or $50 but I picked the best looking woman in the room and didn't even haggle/cost $100 and worth every penny. Went back for seconds on the next night. Spent the next 4 days at an all inclusive in Papagayo and wished I would have stayed in San Jose the whole time. Trust me... it is as good as you've heard and worth every penny.

this is the place to stay, but no kids or spouses allowed, if you all catch my drift. las ticas are most beautiful, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whatever your need, the hotel del rey can provide. theres good food for the price, a decent casino and cash exchange, with good competitive rates, and of course the worlds famous blue marlin bar. my favorite seat is up front at the corner of the bar. from there i can watch all the action, and maybe get in on some myself. just remember to negotiate, and dont walk the streets alone at night, take a cab.
