Overpriced

In town for and event, I decided to stay at the AmericInn because I’ve enjoyed staying at others- they were reasonably well priced and comfortable. After paying over $150 for a non-smoking room with two queen beds, I figured it would be worth the cost. Not at all!
First off, the room smelled of smoke and there were trails of dirt on the floor left from a full vacuum bag. The bathroom was a tiny room just large enough to fit you, the bathtub and the toilet. It was very annoying not to have a bathroom fan, but instead a constant in-take valve, which did nothing!
Then the shower- there was noticeable mildew on the bath tiles and curtains. The calking around the hand bar in the shower was black with mildew! The water pressure was very poor and the towels were coarse feeling and seemed almost threadbare.
The bed was rock hard and extremely uncomfortable. Also, the sheets felt worn and smelt of cigarette smoke. Overall, the room was very unpleasant and I tried to spend as much time outside of it as possible.
