Dirty in many ways
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/16/11
When we arrived the room was not as it was advertised. Suppose to be a suite with a living room and one room then with 2 beds. Was an average size room with a sofa crammed into the room with 2 queen size beds. Under the sofa bed found who knows what but there were pieces of dust bunnies, dried up food and different and various shaped pills. Also numerous dust bunnies under the a/c unit but what was the worst possible thing was finding hair in between the sheets of what was suppose to be clean bedding. No way. Only explanation from front desk was they were so busy they had to hurriedly get room ready for our stay. I guess that means just spreading up the dirty sheets and hope the new tenants won't notice. For $159/night for two I certainly expect better. When I was contacted by management as to our problem with room I gave a full explanation of what we had found and to this date (03/15/11) still have not received a letter of apology or any comments from this place. We will NEVER sit foot in this disgusting place again.

unhappy with a 4 star hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/08
We stayed here for 2 nights. It was alright. The Super 8 that we stayed in for 1 night was just as nice if not better.

Would not stay here again.
Stayed here over memorial day weekend. Thought that it looked nice and would be a nice place to stay be looking at their website. But I was extremely dissapointed...for $100 a night our room smelt like old cigar smoke, even though the hotel is suppose to be smoke free. And our bed was very stiff and not very sturdy, it almost tiped over on us. Will never stay here again.

Great Hotel
By K, 3/27/08
Staff was friendly. While we were out they went into our room twice, but overall it was clean, & neat. Pool is very small. Elevator was very slow. No HBO. Rates were very reasonable. Location is awesome. On our next trip to branson, we will probably use this hotel!

Loved It!
By **Margaritaville**, 7/11/07
I thought this hotel was in a great location, easy access to all the shows and main street. easy to get around town from here. it was clean and the people where freindly. i didnt like the gamroom though, it was small and had old games. they made it sound huge and great on the website but it wasnt. otherwise it was a great experience. will def. go back there.

We are comming back.
By Johnnie L, 5/10/07
We stayed here with my 3 kids for a week. Everything we needed was available to us. They provided us with extra bedding and towles when we needed them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool while I enjoyed the hottub and my husband enjoyed a nap. We were there at the hottest time of the year so we went through clothes pretty fast. The laundry room was a great assett to me. Since I hadn't planned on washing clothes I didn't bring any laundry soap with me. Fortunatly the front desk was able to provide me with what I needed. My husband are planning another trip to Branson for a weekend getaway with some friends, adults only. So he said we should stay here again. I am definatly looking forward to the trip and staying at this hotel again.

HARD BEDS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/26/07
We didn't really enjoy our stay at the Grand Oaks Hotel. The rooms were clean but that was about the only plus side. The beds were hard and the hotel is split in half. We stayed in the second building and when I called for towels the desk attendent was very rude and told me to come get it my self. So the over all experiance was not go for us and we will NOT be staying there again.

VERY NICE -- PLACE AND PEOPLE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/06
Such a nice place to stay while visiting Branson. Clean, comfortable, and very nice and friendly staff. Extremely convenient to wonderful theatres, restaurants, shops, and everything Branson offers. Since staying there the first time we visited Branson, we always return when traveling to the Ozarks.

never stay here!
The pool was up a hill and was a chore to get to. The matresses were hard, I think the floor would have been better to sleep on. The breakfast was horrible, I dont see how the hotel got a 3 star rating. I will never visit the Grand Oaks Hotel again!
