Delta Plantation Inn, Tunica

Our family just loved the acres of wonderful outdoors at Delta Plantation Inn. The room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the shower, and quality toileteries. The courteous staff was true to their motto of "Unique Southern Hospitality". The continental breakfast area is nicely appointed upstairs with a good view, and had a few extra touches usually absent even at the top line motels (we had cherries!). The gym next door is a full fledged gym with a very large pool (the motel has a separate outdoor pool too), and free for the motel guests. The high speed wireless internet worked well. The place is located right next door to the Battle Arena, and about 7 minutes from the casinos. Overall a great laid back experience for a low cost. Will definitely go back.

Looks like this motel has been remodelled under new management. Comfortable room, breakfast was better than most motels, wonderful gym and very warm front desk girl. I think they live upto their motto of "unique southern hopsitality". A good motel that I would easily recommend.

My husband chose this place because it was near the horse arena where he was roping. When we arrived at this establishment our reservations were wrong and it took 20-30 minutes to get it straightened out. Our rooms were nasty. The carpet and furniture had stains all over them. The wall paper was peeling off, there were no baseboards, and the shower curtain had mildew all over it. The bedding and the towels were stained and worn out. I had to wipe down the faucet and mirror, because they had some sort of sticky substance all over them. Basically the rooms were in poor shape and in dire need of a good cleaning and rennovation. I would recommend staying somewhere else. It will be worth the extra $40-50 it would cost you and the inconvenience of driving back and forth to the arena.

This placle needs to catch on fire and burn complely to the ground the furn. was old and dirty shower did not work, front desk and manager is going to get beat down by someone they were very very nasty. This was the worst I ever seen when I called myself going out of town to have a good time and stay in a nice place old man was this a dump. grass needed cuttting, carpet dirty, and sheets was not clean and I did not stay. REMEMBER NEVER LEAVE YOUR NICE PLACE TO SLEEP IN A DUMP.

We loved it!!! There was nobody else there. We had the pool all to ourselves and were able to do what ever we wanted to do!!!!! It wasn't to bad of a drive to the casinos but that isn't what we were there for, if you know what I mean!!! We might go back just for the pure fun of staying in the room and doing what a man and a woman love to do the most!!!!

THIS PLACE NEEDS BULL DOZE DOWN !! NO TOLIET LID FOR THE BACK, BLACK MOLD AROUND TUB, MOUSE DROPPING IN DRESSER, CURTAINS FALLING OFF WINDOWS.. AND THE RUDDNESS OF THE EMPLOYEES WAS THE WORST.. THE MANGER IS THE MOST DISGUSTING EXCUSE FOR A EMPLOYEE ANYONE COULD HAVE.. THE HEALTH DEPT NEEDS TO BE CALLED !!!!!

I dont recomend this to anyone. It was dirty, falling apart, and disgusting. I am from another country and traveled around the USA and this place was a shame.

I have to say that when I read some of the reviews I thought to myself "it could not be that bad" and boy was I wrong. The walls were scratched, the floors dirty, the shower head was loos and was hanging down the top of items in the room were dusty there was not FREE INTERNET, the tv had 5 channels, the door had a crack...gosh I could go on forever. It was definatly not worth 79 dollars a night!

Tv did not work - had to be moved which was a good idea anyway. There were dead roaches, bathroom was dirty, musty room. Second room not much better though the tv did work. No set type of amenities like shampoo and soap so looks like they went to an auction and just picked up their supplies surplus. Advertised wifi but could not connect. Desk worker gave lame excuse that wind and sun affects it. Would not stay there especially for that price.

the air conditioner sounded like a 747 taking off every time it came on the room was old and dirty long way from casinos the breakfast was mini doughnuts took an act of congress to get extra towels they have a lot of nerve charging that price for a room we would have been better off sleeping in our car
