Visit this inn!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/24/09
I had the most wonderful stay at this Inn, the rooms were all comfortable and immaculate. Luc is an amazing cook! One of the other reviews complained about only one muffin, but they failed to mention you also get a fresh fruit course, and a main course. For us the main course was a delicious strata one day, and an apricot creme filled crepe with fresh raspberry sauce another. I had to waddle away from the table!! I also found our hosts to be incredibly warm and inviting, they had friends staying when we were there and we joined them on the back porch for dinner, guitar, firefly chasing with the kids, cheese, wine and wonderful conversation. Luc, Karen, and their children made us part of the family for the entire weekend. We had so much fun. We also rode the Icelandic Horses a couple of minutes away. Karen was an incredible guide, and the horses were wonderfully gaited, sturdy, and affectionate. We went on a wide variety of trails, it was so beautiful. We also did quite a bit of tolting, which if you haven't tried before, you really should! We enjoyed sitting in the jacuzzi looking at the amazing view on the back porch when we returned from our ride. I will definitely come back here again. I highly recommend staying here!!

We WILL be returning
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/07
Looks are deceiving when driving to this cozy home. After driving through the small town you pull up to the inn and get to see a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. In the fall, when my boyfriend and I went, it was absolutely breath taking especially because we could watch the sunrise from the bed. Oh that bed... It is so comfortable that you just drift off without even knowing it. Our breakfasts were decilious, very filling and you won't get it anywhere else. We found Luc and his family to be wonderful, very kind and were more than happy to answer our questions and lend us suggestions on things to see. Make time to stop wherever you can. There are beautiful photos that can be taken everywhere; waterfalls, streams, trails, wildlife, covered bridges and the view alone are just a few. We used our time to take some rides on the Islandic horses that are just a few minutes away. From the minute you arrive it is more hospitality. I've never felt safer getting on a brand new breed of horse and riding through the mountains. Give one of these little guys a hug, they hug back. All in all this was an extremely relaxing vacation and I will ba making it a point to go back to the Inn and the farm. Perhaps at least once a season.

Luc-warm Hospitality
By Martha, 10/1/06
Rooms were clean, furnishings were adequate and the food we were served was good. However, the innkeeper (Luc) was quite tepid in his demeanor and the inn was skimpy on some things--breakfast muffins were set out in a basket on the table and if 10 people were at the table, 10 muffins were set out and no more. On our last morning, instead of saying "thank you for your visit", we were told by Luc, "you know you have to leave this morning"---and no, we are neither troublesome nor high maintenance guests. In addition, as we were leaving, the innkeeper watched us load up 4 suitcases and never offered the assistance of even holding the door!!!!!!! The other staff were equally tepid and we felt that we were imposing on the innkeepers by being there. We would not stay here again nor would we recommend the establishment to others.
