The hotel room from hell.
By CARLOS, 10/1/10
When making reservations for a room we use the AAA tour book and take the motel rating into consideration and depend on them to find what is acceptable to us. We rented room #10 for two nights at this B&B. It was the worst room for the money. It was small and had two queen beds with old conforters and old teddy bears as decorations. The beds made so much noise when we tryed to get comfortable. There was very little room walk around. The a/c cord layed out on the floor so one can trip on it. The room needed paint and the bathroom was dirty and very old. The towels and floor mat were very old. The toilet plunger was old and dirty. The bathroom was not cleaned the second day. I think this room is rented out as the last room and should be called the take it or leave it room when the town is busy. I asked where the ice machine was and I was told you have to go to Safeway and buy a bag. Remember if they they offer Room #10 just say NO don't go look at it.

Overrated

Seemed like a good deal and had good reviews but not too impressed. The service was not polite and impersonal and was near the railroad. Wasn't at all what I was expecting and in my opinion not worth the hassel for the price.

Adorable, lovely, great value!!
By Nancy, 7/17/09
Our room was beautifully decorated and the proprietor was most accommodating and informative. The room was right on Route 66 so just a little bit noisy. Being a small town, it was quiet during sleeping hours. We highly recommend this great alternative to the big, boxy hotel chains

Homely
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/24/07
Excellent little Inn, clean, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Good value for money. We would recommend this Inn to anybody wanting to visit the South Rim of Grand Canyon, but not wanting to pay the high rates at the Rim itself. It does take about an hour to travel to the South Rim but it is an easy drive. The only small critisism no place to eat breakfast except in rooms.

Quite good overall
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/17/07
Friendly owners, good service, nice room (if a bit small), very clean, generous healthy snack breakfasts. Main problem is road noise. This wooden building is very close to the road (just a few feet) and the road noise at night was a real problem. Motor bikes and trucks will wake you up regularly unless you are a *very* heavy sleeper. Pity really; it was so nice in other ways. I cut my stay short as I needed to get a place where I could sleep.

The room was large and comfy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The town is charming and centrally located. I'd stay here again!

Worst Possible Hotel. Just HORRIBLE!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/24/05
Problems with the room, staff, and service. I was hoping for a cheap motel but, this place is ten times worse than any Motel6 I've stayed at. DON'T STAY HERE!!!
