Absolute Craphole
By J, 7/26/11
Would not stay again. Under renovation. Apparently, renovating means all night. Staff was rude. The girl checking in seemed inconvenienced by customers. The lady at the desk during morning call was equally abrasive. Breakfast? Good Luck. I have food allergies and her suggestion was to go and eat at a restaurant. So I spent 80 dollars to stay at your craphole, had an hour left of breakfast, and I should spend more because you can't be bothered to check if there was fruit or make some more eggs? At least the one woman (who I'm not sure if house keeping) tried checking, better than front desk clerk... Basically.. Avoid the place. Rebranding from Comfort Inn to Blue Mountain Inn. Comfort Inn should be proud they left. I hope celebrations are in order.

Totally incompetent desk staff
By Christine, 6/22/08
Where do I start....the people who staff the front desk are in serious need of training, including basic hotel reservations systems. The worst thing was that one evening another couple was given a key to our room and barged in on us, despite the fact that we had a multi-night reservation and obviously had not yet checked out. Later that evening, I witnessed the same thing happen to another guest. When I called the front desk to complain, the desk clerk said she'd call me right back, which of course she never did and then lied to my husband about it when he confronted her. When we made our reservation, we asked for a room with a fridge, since we were staying for multiple days. However, when we checked in, there was no fridge, and the woman at the front desk said there was no way for her to know which rooms had fridges and which did not (she proceeded to give us several second floor room keys to go and find out if any of the rooms had fridges -- none actually did). Although we had made reservations and showed up on the scheduled day of arrival, the desk clerk had labeled us as "no shows" and we were charged for two extra nights when we checked out. Despite having alerted the desk clerk to the problem on the second day (when we asked again about getting a fridge moved to our room), the problem was not fixed. At check out, my husband paid the bill before analyzing the charges. When he pointed out that the bill was incorrect (charges for two extra nights), the desk clerk said he was unable to adjust the bill or refund the overcharge and that we would have to wait until the manager could resolve the situation in the evening. I don't know about you, but when I go on vacation, I don't enjoy facing these kinds of hassles. On top of this, Blanding is really a dull place to stay. It's a DRY town -- no beer, wine, or hard liquor -- and there only two mediocre and overpriced restaurants. Although small, the town of Bluff a few miles south is a much better choice.

Best In Blanding
By trying2, 6/8/08
This is the ONLY place to stay in Blanding, Utah if you want neat and clean, with a varied choice of room options, at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and helpful, quick to respond to any problem. Breakfast was the best of the complimentary "Continental" breakfasts I've had in a long time. Fresh fruit, fresh baked waffles, cereals, pastries, hard boiled eggs...It felt just right for me. Oh, hot tub was luke warm, at best..not that good. I sometimes have to live in a hotel/motel for extended periods of time as a travel nurse, and really appreciate a place as safe feeling as this Comfort Inn.

Overpriced flop house
By william, 5/16/08
If you have to go to Blanding do not stay here. Very worn tired hotel. Owners must not care The trash containers outside the entrance were over flowing when we arrived and when we left. Room was shabby, furniture was abused. Luckily we were there in March so air conditioning was not an issue. Way overpriced for what it is.
