Seasons Motel, Morton

The service was good, room was nice, bed was comfortable, and the continental breakfast was superb, a great place to stay, very satisfied with the whole package.

This motel is about the only one in the area between Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier - location is very good. Rooms dated but very clean. Window opens and lets in cool mountain air - much better than struggling with the stubborn air conditioner. The only problem was with the bed sheets. Clean but old and had shrunk in size. No longer fit over the mattress and kept slipping off in the night making for a less than ideal night sleep after trapsing in mountains. Asked for other sheets which we got quickly, but they said all of the sheets did the same thing. Good news is they keep the bedding and the rooms very clean - bad news is they shrink the bedding in the process. Resolved the bedding issue by removing the mattress cover (very slippery) and adding 2 bottom sheets which were still not big enough but held the mattress. Very good continental breakfast, especially since it is not a town with lots of meal choices. Breakfast room very small - had to eat outside on picnic table but was a beautiful morning and we didn't mind. Had a computer in the lobby for general use which was a nice feature to find in the mountains. People who work at/run the motel are extremely cordial and willing to help with any issue.

Good Location between Ranier and Mt. St. Helens. Check-in very friendly and shared local traffic conditions/recommendations on what to see. Morton itself is nice little town off the tourist beaten path. Fantastic coffee shop named "The Bean Tree" in downtown.

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the man who checked us in was very friendly. Very easy to find and within walking distance to where we needed to go. The rates could be a little better. We did have an incident where the milk was on the sour side. When a man mentioned it to the lady, she was reluctant to believe him.

Room was COLD, bedding & towels thin and old, room decor depressing, curtain rods needed repair. Nothing inviting about this place. Probably because it's the only motel in the area.
