Isnt this the hotel the OKC bombers stayed in before the bombing happened?

yes donny the motel is closed, people were just not traveling this year, and after the military contracts were taken from the bigger hotels in town and given to the bluff's apartments, the bigger guys started renting weeklies close to our weekly rent. we just couldn't compete. so yes we closed the motel and let the bank have it back. i will have geoff call you donny. you were a good friend to him. we only live 45 min away north east of manhattan. thank you to all who did stay at the motel, we had some fun times, met alot of really nice people the 9 years we had the motel. god bless ya and don't be affraid to stay at a little american motel you might just find a nice clean place to have sweet dreams in. if your planing a trip to junction city the greatwestern is newly owned and has re done all their rooms, not one at a time like we tried to do. he did them all at once. very nice and very clean. thank you all for your kind comments DreamlandMotel1@aol.com

We liked everything about the motel, owners are very friendly and they actually treated us like people, instead of just someone to fill there rooms. The rooms are very clean,beds are very comfortable and they didnt charge us for extra towels. The pool is great nice and clean. A great place to stay close to Interstate, Ft Riley,Junction city ,Walmart and Dining. If we ever get to go back there its the place where we'll stay!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friendly folks that know how to treat a guest...easy to find, and clean cozy rooms. Will stay there again when in the area next time.

This is a really neat place to stay, they have themed rooms in the motel and the people are friendly and will help you in anyway they can. It's a Mom and Pop place. They do a lot with the Military.

I STAYED THERE A FEW WEEKS AGO WHEN MY BOYFRIEND CAME HOME FROM IRAQ. THE OWNERS WERE VERY ACCOMODATING AND EVEN THREW MY BOYFRIEND A WELCOME BACK BBQ BY THE POOL. WHILE THE MOTEL IS OLDER,,, IT IS EXTREMELY CLEAN AND WELL CARED FOR. I FOUND THE MOTEL TO BE SAFE, CLEAN AND WELCOMING. IT HAS A LAID BACK FAMILY ATMOSPHERE WHICH I FOUND REFRESHING. brook, I am so sorry your stay was so horrible. when you reserve a room for two days on a busy weekend you pay up front for the rooms, When you called me when i was trying to get ready for my mothers funeral you never stated that the room had ants. HUH? I asked you to leave a note as my husband was having to do my job and his. and was up all night. room #32 that you stayed in had just been remodeled. it was a smaller room due to the king not opening up as the army couple in there didn't get their electric turned on in their apartment. We even gave you a discount for the smaller room. as for the police. this is still America and a free enterprise system and I make my business polices not the police. the no refund sign is so people don't charge or write a check and want cash back. and we do not keep cash on the property. right before my mothers funeral i spoke to my husband on the phone and told him that you sounded like their was an emergency and to credit the room rent back. he had no idea you called the police. if you read all the reviews you should have read the one i left. we are an older motel trying to remodel each room one at a time. so funny our rate is 35 plus tax as we are an older motel and you want that rate and expect marriot or hilton rooms. as for the stinky cats my kids love their cats and we love the fact that we don't have mice. as for being run down. sorry, we just had the motel appraised and 24 rooms for 600,000.00 isn't run down when the one up the hill sold for 700,000.00 and had 52 rooms. once again i am sorry your stay was so bad. i was not here and had just hired a new maid one week before we had to leave to take care of my mom. you never stated any other reason for wanting a refund other then an emergancy but you were here in town at 4:30. do unto others as you would have them do unto you. i'll pray that no one treats you the way you did us when your mother passes. marsha

When I first saw the building I did not know what to expect. I travel for work 70% of the year and have stayed in numerous hotels and motels. The Dreamland Motel is the cleanest family owned motel that I have had the pleasure staying and what a great price. The internet works great too. No complaints during my three week stay. The best bonus are the owners who are are average hardworking Americans, friendly and take great pride in this place. They beat all the foriegn owned (India)hotels in the area.
