Only worth it if you're on a budget.

The Ritz Inn. My boyfriend and I spent a week here while we were trying to find an apartment in San Francisco. We booked our room for 1 week. The manager assured us that if we needed longer than 1 week, we would have that room.
After almost 1 week and we still hadn't found an apartment, we told the manager we would need to extend our stay. He became upset and agitated with us, and then told us he was booked and we couldn't stay there any longer. We were one of the only tenants in the whole inn! And the VACANY sign was never changed to NO VACANCY. We were forced to run around and find another hotel at the last minute.... a more expensive hotel at that. For the remaining days we stayed at the Ritz Inn, the manager was rude and short with us- a complete attitude change.
I don't know what grudge that man held against us. We were quiet guests that did nothing wrong.
I should also mention that the hotel reeked of dried urine. I am assuming they used to allow pets at the hotel.. and never cleaned the rugs. Because it STUNK.
The rooms were tiny. There was grafiti on one of the dressers. And we wore sandals when taking a shower because we didn't want to catch diseases from the shower stall.
The Ritz Inn is BEARABLE- and that's about it. If you are on a tight budget, we recommend this inn because of the low rates. But if you are on a trip for pleasure, this place certainly won't give you that.
