Great Place!! =0)
By Danielle D, 7/6/07
My husband and I stayed at the Hydrangea House Inn for our honeymoon in late October/early November of 2006. The place is BEAUTIFUL! The staff is very friendly. We stayed in the Dudely Newton Sweet. It was very clean and decorated with taste. The fireplace, shower and jacuzzi tub were great. The breakfast's were superb!!!! My husband and I could not wait to get up in the morning (and we are not morning people!) to see what delicious food was on the table. It was truly worth the trip and the money to stay at this inn. We will def. return in the future.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/7/07
I stayed at the HHI maybe 3 years back with my then boyfriend. It was MUCH more than what we had expected. Location: Pretty nice. Very...nautical. Cute quaint town. Staff: Really nice and clean! Food: was THE BEST I EVER HAD!!! Breakfast was the deLish! So gourmet! And yesm the cookies were yummy too. Rooms: Really nice...warm. Not like the 4 seasons, but cozy. It's an Inn! Showers are TO DIE FOR!!!! I live in NYC...I know what I'm talkin' about! Price: Pricey, but maybe it was the time of year. Overall: I'd like to bring my mom and i owuld DEF. recommend to friends.

Incredible, impeccable service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/06
I took my husband to Newport for his 30th B'day, for 3 days over the 4th July w/end. It was the first time we had both been there. I found the HHI by reading reveiws online, and was astounded at how many great reviews they had received. I called the Inn and straight away, the service was brilliant - so warm & friendly. They wanted to help in any way they could to make this trip a great one. They assited in B'day arrangements, like buying flowers on my behalf, setting out champagne and chocolates, and suggesting various areas for dinner etc. When we arrived we couldn't beleive how beautiful the HHI was, the decor was gorgeous. Grant & Dennis, and all the crew were so lovely and friendly. We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY at the homemade huge yummy breakfast that was served.... DELICIOUS!! Then there's the cookies that are equally to die for. The bedroom/bathroom was so clean & beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Verandah Room. We would return to live in the HHI if we could!! It was a brilliant experience, and there is literally nothing negative we could say about our stay, except perhaps that we couldn't stay longer!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/5/06
Our trip to the Hydrangea House was amazing!!!!!! My husband and I are from Boston and visit Newport several times a year. We came across the Hydrangea House and decided to take a peek.......we were hooked! It is near impossible to find a historic house with character that has period peices while still having the little extras that everyone wants,( i.e. flat screen t.v., jacuzzi, fireplace) This place has it all. It is the most wonderful and romantic place we have ever stayed at and we travel a lot!!!!!! We would reccomend it to anyone. The only downfall is that it is a tad bit pricey..........but worth it! Matt and Cindy Coholan
