Stay Away

Be aware that this Travelodge tacks on hidden fees without informing the customer in advance or when you check out. I made a reservation for one night, and after I returned home I looked at my receipt and noticed a charge for a "safe fee" for approximately $1.90. I never asked for a safe, nor did I use the safe, nor did Travelodge or the management of this hotel take any steps to make amends after I contacted them about this issue. While a $1.90 is not a lot of money, the fact that the Travelodge would not make amends made the situation even more pathetic than it was. Stay away.

Good value for price

We went there on the Memorial Day weekend,prices were around 120,but with clean rooms,good amenities,friendly reception ,filling breakfast,it was treat Likes::Clean Room,cable ready tv,coffee machine,coffee/tea pouches,refrigirator,free breakfast which was abundant and friendly reception,and last but not the least its located at the central location of Middletown.Vineyards,Beach,Newport downtown,shopping areas are really very close to the hotel Dislikes:::Breakfast area gets crowded during the breakfast time

this hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends

You get what you pay for.

Don't get a first floor room unless you want to hear LOUD footsteps all night. No hot water the second morning. Breakfast was too late 7:00 AM. and skimpy. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.

Great value

We were pleasantly surprised that a budget hotel was so nice. It was neat and clean. The people were helpful. The continental breakfast was great (waffles!) and it is close to all the attractions and restaurants (2-3 miles at most!)

Best place I've stayed in.

management is great. Housekeeping very friendly and helpful. Heated pool for an evening swim even if its alittle cool out. The sleepy bears den is the best if you have children. I'd recomend it to anyone. You may pay alittle more but its worth every penny.

The hotel was verry clean. Contenental breackfast from 7:00am till 10:00am. Outdoor heated pool. The house ceapers were very nice and the room was amaculat. Just from you to me it was grate.

Excellent Place

This is your average Econolodge, but I was impressed, it was clean, spacious, had a coffeemaker, TV, and just plain comfortable. There was internet access if you have a laptop and near everything! I mean near all the fast food resturants, books stores, grocery stores, and that was convenient. I am going to stay there again. The also had a continental breakfast. The only think I didn't like was that the soda machines were all empty and they could have refilled them.

Clean and simple

When we first got in to our room the lock on the door was broken. They gave us no problem changing rooms. First room smelled a bit musty but the 2nd room was fine. If you dont want to spend a lot and aren't expecting a lot this is fine for you.
