Long Key Beach Resort, St Pete Beach

All in all It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at SweetHotelDeals. N e t They usually have some pretty good deals on there.

Absolutely clean every day, smelled good, clean sheets, great at swapping extra towels, perfect location on beach, friendly staff, well equipped mini kitchen, comfy furnishings including bed. Felt very welcome and well taken care of. This place is CLEAN and very nice, not fancy but well maintained. I highly recommend for families, couples, or singles.

I love how the owner and his staff care for the grounds. This place is so nice and quaint. Management is very personable, friendly and caring.

We can't say enough nice things about Long Key Beach Resort! It's tucked between St. Pete's Beach's main drag and the beach, so you can step outside your hotel room into the central garden courtyard, look out across the pool, and see miles and miles of beautiful white sand beach. The European owner/manager keeps the place clean and friendly with morning coffee, a small library, and internet access in the lobby. It's like its own private tropical world and at very reasonable prices. Long Key Beach Resort can't be beat for value or central beach location. We won't even bother shopping around on future visits, because we've found our new home away from home in the Tampa Bay area.

Neat, Clean, Friendly place. We met many new friends from all over USA and United Kingdom. Everything is great from Roman the owner to the house keeper. We wont stay anywhere else. We have been going every year for 5 years never had any proplems. When we lweave we make reservations for the next year. Counting the days till Sept

We love how close the beach is to the motel. It is so wonderful to go out and almost sit on the beach when you are by the cabana!! The value is awesome too so book early or you might not get a room! Lol!

My family(wife and 2 kids sister brther-in-law and niece) and I stay here for ten days every year in March. We have done so for nine years now. we love the owners and everything about this place. It is right non the beach. Every room is near the pool. The beach is very clean. The rooms are very clean. The maid service is very good. I personally have never felt that children are unwelcome. My two children have made friends with nearly everyone in the hotel. Same people every year. That speaks volumes.

We recently returned from a most enjoyable three week holiday at Long Key, and are eagerly awaiting our next visit. Close proximity to the beach was most helpful, as hubby has difficulty walking. The maid service was a lovely treat. We were impressed with Roman's attention to the grounds which are well kept,and immaculate. The guests were wonderful, and we made lots of new friends we hope to see again next spring. The quality of the resort, the beautiful beach, the excellent management, and the beautiful sunsets are magnificent. That's why we can't wait o go back!!

This place is great for the price! We just got back and I want to go again! We stayed in room 201 for $85.00 a night. The room was clean and unlike some of the reviews I have read, there were no roaches! The staff was very friendly and willing to accomadate us in in anyway to make our stay pleasant. Most of the people that were staying there were long time customers who come every year. I think that says a lot about a place. There was a beautiful sunset each night and lots of great shells on the beach when I took my walk each morning. We were able to cook and ate most of meals in our room, but did visit a couple of great restaurants. We did not have to rent a car because we could ride the trolley for $3.50 all day. Kids under 5 could ride free and over 5 was $1.50 for an all day pass. We rode the trolley to Clearwater and stopped at John's Pass on the way back for dinner. We ate at Gator's. The food was great and so were the prices. We also ate at the Wharf in Pass-A- Grille. They have a different special each night of the week. We had the prime rib dinner for $11.95. It was excellent! I would definately recommend this to anyone who wants a beach vacation, but like me is on a budget when it comes to planning my vacation. We went to Miami Beach last year and stayed in the Trump International Hotel. I am still paying for that vacation and enjoyed the Long Key more.

The owners Roman and Lottie are awesome! We have been staying here since 1990 and have had family staying here before that before Roman and Lottie took over. We have had family reunions - wonderful family time here. The place is the greatest - we stay here several times during the year from a few days to a week at a time. We recommend to everyone. If we had our way if it was at all possible we would be there a month at a time several months out of the year. It is a great place - close to restaurants and stores. Publix is right down the road stock up on your supplies and you never have to leave - just have food delivered in or cookout. Come and enjoy your love it.
