Cumberland Kings Bay Lodges, St. Marys

I am actually staying here long term until I find a place in the area to live, and this is a very pleasant place. The staff here are great, maintenance is onsite, and while I've never needed them at night, I've always had a good response when I needed them. The place is very clean, no signs of any bugs, and the rooms are very clean. I had read reviews from others who stayed here, maybe it's new management or something, but I haven't found any problems like others have. The only thing that one should know is that there are no kitchen items in the rooms, which I did find odd, since it's more for long term than overnight stays. Fortunately, I have my own, but I just htought I'd put that out there. Management was even going to let me move in my own mattress to sleep on, and they have been very accomodating. There are several small restaurants in the area, a local grocery store and Family Dollar and Dollar Tree nearby. There is an onsite laundry, but the washers only fill up halfway with water, so I use a local laundrymat in the shopping mall up the road about a mile or so. The Wal-mart is probably 5 miles away, with the chain restaurants and bigger stores in Kingsland, up US 40. I would certainly recommend the hotel to any of my family and friends.

this hotel is a great place to stay ,, the housekeepers are very friendly and do a good job at keeping the rooms very clean and they offer coffee and donuts in the morning it was just an overall great place to stay i recommend everyone check out this place.

CKBL is an extremely great place to stay if you're looking for a nice, clean, and very affordable lodging. Every room has a little kitchen which includes refrigerator, microvave, stove, and a small dining table. It is very convenient to Fernandina Beach and also Cumberland Island. We highly recommend it.
