America Inn and Suites, Newport

I liked that my room was clean, internet was fast i was getting over 5 meg download, check in was easy, and the staff spoke perfect english. I told all my Senior friends about this place. Also no "ethnic smell" which I always pleased and sometimes rare to find these days. Staff was very helpful with maps of town and nearest beach access. I like this place, its a no hassle place easy to find and management that is by far the best I have seen for a smaller motel.

We stayed in one of those family suites. It was a large room perfect for my wife and I and our four little children. Two Queen Size beds and a sofa sleeper were perfect. Everymorning we would go to the office and eat many of their pastries. My favorite are the Cinnamon doughnuts. My wifes favorite was their assortment of Tazo Tea's avaialable in the office. In all I had read some reviews of this place online and I was a little concerned about it. But the truth is The staff is very professional and most helpful. The front desk person printed out maps of town for us, made his own maps of his own recommendations of things to see, which wer all so great for my family. The place is clean and the price was great. I think it was around $90 dollars a day, so divided by 6 people its about $15 per person, what a great deal!! We will go there again most defintely.

I have satyed there 3 times and each time was a pleasent time. i think it was a great motel and infact i am going to go there next week and stay. I have recommended it to friends and they enjoyed their stay as well... The price was just really great and CHEAP!!

I had been staying at this motel for more then 2 days when I realized that the "Do not disturb" sign was nothing more then a door hanger. I had a friend stop by for lunch and as I walked to the store the Manager entered my room not knowing I had a visitor. As soon as she became aware that the room had an occupant she smiled and backed out. So why was she entering my room when she thought I was gone? I'm still left wondering.

What do you expect for 50 or 60 bucks the Hilton!
