This motel was shockingly filthy. An old mattress was leaning against the wall in the hallway, along with other junk. The room was so creepy, it's almost hard to believe. 1st walked into room and checked sheets for hair, stains, general cleanliness. when I pulled down the top sheet a cockroach ran out from under the top sheet towards the pillows. I then checked under the bed to look for the creepy-crawler and saw several dead roaches under the bed. then saw cobwebs in corners of ceiling. towels and washcloths were black with dirt. I had to stay b/c late at night already and no where else to stay, so... went to turn off the lamp on the dresser and there was a splatter of dried blood on the lampshade. It had the distinct characteristics of blood and was definitely not ketchup or paint or pen. extremely gross. The train is directly across the street and b/c the train is approaching downtown exactly at the point of the hotel, it blows it's horn several times right in front of the hotel all night long. The next morning I requested my money back for the upcoming three nights (they make you pay for entire stay at check-in). I was able to cancel my last 2 nights (3rd and 4th nights), but the manager made me pay for the 1st and 2nd night. even though the manager made me pay for the 2nd night, I still chose to sleep in a tent at the music park instead of the hotel. The tent was quiet, had a great view of live oak trees and only one mosquito! :)
