Brass Lantern Inn B & B, Stowe

The owners are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. Afternoon sweets were put out along with coffee or tea. There are a number of restaurants for many tastes nearby, but no fast food chains. The Inn and room were very clean and well kept. The Inn is located near the center of town and near a small supermarket where we were able to easily purchase some water and soda that we ran out of. It was easy to travel to the sites we wanted to visit in the area. We were able to get a TV in our room that could get a few local stations. The TV in the common room was large and had Direct TV. No one else staying there at that time had any interest in watching TV, so we were able to watch what we wanted in the evening. There was also a selection of magazines, books and games for our use. We were able to get a reasonable night's sleep. The only reason for a rating of 4 instead of 5 stars is that the room was relatively small in comparison to others we stayed in on the same trip.
