Dirty, noisy and they don't care!
I was really disappointed in our stay at the Red Feather Lodge from the time we arrived to the time we left. The worst part of it all was that the noise level. I could hear everything going on upstairs from foot steps to closing doors to even hearing when they shifted their weight. This went on most of the night and morning and needless to say we didn't sleep well at all. The carpet had large stains on it with an offensive odor that was similar to the smell of what you use when you clean carpets to cover up other odors. I saw pets in the neighboring rooms, so I assume it was something associated with a pet mess. The bedding was not sufficient, the pillows were uncomfortable and the blanket was a twin sized blanket on a queen sized bed, it wasn't enough to cover 2 people comfortably. I would expect these conditions to exist in a hotel that charged quite a bit less. For $150 I expect to have a comfortable and quiet room in a hotel focused on customer service and hospitality, none of which this hotel had. When I checked in, Rebecca was more of an interrogator vs. a host. When I checked out, unfortunately I had Rebecca again and when I relayed to her my disappointment, she basically said sorry and here is your receipt. She stated that there were no supervisors there and that there was nothing she could do about it.
