This is not a fancy motel. No glass elevators, room service is Domino's. That said, this place isn't just clean. It is unbelivieably clean. It squeaks. The hardware all worked. The view of the court was pleasant. The owner / manager was friendly. Not "gimme your money, tourist and I'll give you a smile." Genuinely friendly. It was Friday night in the spring. The last three places I tried were "No Vacancy." Nobody even wanted to talk about the "discount coupon magazines" found at the rest areas. These folks did not bump their rates. They sold out 1/2 hour after I checked in. And across the street was a great steak house. It is a "Ma & Pa" style "leave the key in the room" kind of place. A clean, quick, friendly kind of place. My kind of place.
