Got off to a bad start, and only got worse...
We get checked into our $58 room @ 11pm -- someone's been sleeping in one of our beds! No more similar rooms available, so we wait until the housekeeping staff comes to change the sheets. The worst part about it was the front desk staff's non-chalance about the whole thing -- "yeah, we just switched someone out of that room -- the sheets should still be clean." (NOT the right answer!) Their next customer service failing was at breakfast time -- out of bagels for the last 45 minutes of breakfast, and again, complete non-chalance from the front desk staff -- after several people complained, she reluctantly showed up with one small bag of English muffins. (Plus there was only one tiny table that could seat 5 people, although there was a closed banquet hall about 20 feet away.) These people obviously don't know the meaning of the word "hospitality" and should all be retrained or seek other employment! Also worrisome was the unlocked door from the parking lot to the hotel corridor and the very, very slowly flushing, almost overflowing toilet...
