Newbury Guest House, Boston

I began my stay at the guesthouse by receiving a key that was for the wrong room! This mistake took over fifteen minutes to correct. The room was small. I booked a large room that was supposed to have a lot of natural light , however, it had only one small window. The bed was fairly comfortable however the �antique� furniture was the same as some that I have seen at Holiday Inn�s. Nothing to get excited about. It looked more like they went to a hotel liquidation sale and bought up mismatched furniture in an attempt to look eclectic. The walls were stained, the paint job was poor and the sprinklers were unfinished. Rusty sinks topped off the small bathroom. In the end a room that was booked for $155 ended costing $200. I will never stay here again, the location is not enough incentive.

Many years ago, while in Boston, I visited the Newbury Guest House and since then, I had been looking forward to staying there. However, I was very disappointed. The room was clean, but paint was chipped, light bulbs not working throughout the four days I was there, the windonw hadn't been cleaned in months (I had to open it to see across the street) and they were remodeling, so I had breakfast (which was average) with dust, a rolled up rug next to my table and workers going about their sometimes noisy business while people ate. I don't feel what I got was what I paid for. Too expensive. I won't go back.

The Newbury Guest House charged us for a night that we never stayed in the B&B and refused to give us a refund! This B&B is nice but I'd never stay there again after this.

i love this place. I would stay there again. i would love to move into this place. i can't wait to go back. i want to spend my christmas in this hotel. i will bring my own tree.

Newbury Guest House is a lovely guest house, very well decorated and the cleanliness is perfect. Very well located at Newbury Street at walkung distance to the Hynes Convention Center, Copley Place, wonderful stores and restaurants. It is place to stay and enjoy Boston.

Great place, like staying in a B&B with a private bath. What a location. Service impeccable. Shopping restaurants right out the frint door. Great street action on Newbury. Short walk to Fenway. Great breakfast each morning (included)
